Instant personality click

the happy couple

Thank you Adventist Singles connection for providing a service for people to meet quality partners on the internet. We met last February when I (Aridesantsoul) had signed on to terminate my sevice after 6 months of no success. I met Keejneth that night and it was an instant personality click from the first conversation. We communicated on the computer for a month, switched over to the telephone and met in May of 2006. The hardest thing about living 3000 miles apart was not being able to see each other on a regular basis. We flew back and forth every 1 and half months, and now we are in the same town, same State almost a year from when we first met. We want to encourage those of you who are searching for someone special to go into it with prayer. We both had times when we wanted to give up, but God worked things out in his time.

I am so glad I found this site. I was originally searching for churches, and the search led me to her.

I found the most wonderful man!!

the happy couple

Hi this is Heather. My user name was HLW21 and Tim's name was TJ77. I joined your site and found the most wonderful man!! Tim sent me a smile in October 2005 and we emailed each other and then he gave me his phone number and I called him and we talked maybe once a month, while still emailing each other. We kind of lost contact for a little while, but then I was going to FL for spring break in March '06 and I knew he lived in TN and we were stopping in TN for the weekend before heading to FL. So I emailed Tim and asked if he would want to meet me. We made the plans and he drove 4 hours to the place where I would be in TN. We both were going with the intensions of we'll just meet, hang out and then probably never see each other (since we both lived in different states)! But, that didn't happen!! We both had so much fun together and we just hit it off. We have talked almost everyday since that weekend we met! We officially became a couple on May 14 '06 and we talk 3,4, sometimes 5 or more times a day, everyday!! We see each other once a month, he comes to Ohio and I go to TN. We both feel God brought us together. We are praying about our relationship that it is God's will, that we will be together soon! I am finishing my bachelor's degree in Business Management and he has some priorities that he has to finish. And soon, God's will, we will be together!!

His sister had told him about this christian website and my grandma told me about this site. It's funny because we both said that it would be stupid to sign up on this site (a dating site on the internet) but we are both glad we did because we found each other!! God is so awesome!!

Thank you,
Heather

God will be with us as HE is everyday.

the happy couple

I met this wonderful person on ASC, my username was champ73 and her username was luv2read. I wasn't looking for my soulmate but God works in mysterious ways.
We were talking about how God has touched our families and our lives and our friendship grew into something much more. I live in the United States and she lives in Asia, we will meet for the first time in February 2007. God will be with us as HE is everyday. The Lord has blessed me with a strong Adventist family and has led me to luv2read. We will put everything in our relationship in the Lords' hands and let HIM be our guide as we begin our lives together. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful site, it is good for meeting your soulmate or just meeting other Adventists wanted a more spiritual life. Good luck to everyone, and God bless you all and be good to yourself and each other.

Sincerely,

Champ73

Her story:
GOD WILL BE WITH US AS HE IS EVERYDAY

Last August 18, 2006, God sent the "one" that He has prepared for me! I was checking my mail then suddenly I saw someone viewed my profile and we exchanged smiles for one time. We're both neophyte at this kind of site, as a matter of fact, he had a "new" icon on his profile proving that he's really a new member. Then we chatted for long hours and we exchanged emails the next day on! The sun will not set of not hearing anything from each other. We maintained that constant communication and put God first in our lives.

I enjoyed his company and his magical sixth sense-- his sense of humor! We exchanged emails and I just saw myself enjoying talking to this person. Knowing him is a great privilege and he is making a big impact in my life especially with my relationship to our Creator! Until now, I can't imagine how I could receive such a "gift"! He completes me and I can tell squarely that he is a great and God-fearing person. It is my first time to have a man in my life and I am glad that he is the first and the last.

God blesses us at the right time and when it comes, it's unexplainable, immeasurable and incomprehensible. At that moment, all we can do is to praise and thank Him for what He has done for us, for blessing us despite of our weaknesses and shortcomings. Indeed, God moves in mysterious ways! We are both from the different sides of the world but with God’s grace, he was able to visit me and we spent time together. I knew that he’s going to propose but the thing is, I didn’t know when and where. But one night, he asked me to close my eyes and I just saw myself standing and looking at him kneeling down, holding my hands, then he asked me the magical question. I couldn't even utter a word, speechless, wanted to cry and my body was like shaking. Later, I was able to talk and said my BIG YES!!! That was a great and magnificent feeling. Now, we are working in our plans for our future and preparing for sharing our "one life" together soon!

Sweet, from the deepest part of my heart, I would like to thank you for sharing me your big heart and for loving me unconditionally. I love you always and forever!

God bless ASC!!!

Our testimonies

the happy couple

Hello, my name is Valerie Robison, username Bluesea311. His name is Jeffrey Maxwell username Gospel4U.

It started out when people in my church began to suggest to me to go online and meet other Adventists to make friends. In my mind this was totally absurd because I was not looking for "my other half" and in my mind I was going to stay single the rest of my life. But I heard it many times and I decided that it would be nice to make some friends in some other areas of the world with my same faith. I was quite disappointed to see all that I saw on the website, seeing that all those people are professed Christians. But then, I saw his picture and it was God who told me to look at his profile. I read it and thought that for his age, it was strange yet so wonderful how he expressed his love for our God, being so young and all. It caught my attention and for a moment I fought with the decision of whether I should write to him because everyone on the website seemed so desperate to find a mate that I did not want him to think that i was looking for that. As I said, I was pretty
much looking for sincere Christians in other parts to make friends. So the Lord told me to write. All I said was that i loved how he expressed his love for God and that it was nice to see this in someone his age as I am about the same age and this is hard to find. From this he immediately replied and we began a friendship. God was most definitely guiding us and I could sense that something was right. We decided to exchange numbers and called each other and prayed together every night.

Jeffrey:

Yes, the Lord Jesus was most certainly involved in this relationship. I had never had my own cellphone on a monthly plan before and I felt impressed to buy one shortly before meeting Valerie online. This was a miracle amongst many. We also signed up for Adventist Singles Connection at around the same time. I never thought that I would find someone around my age who actually lived up to much of the standard that true Adventism stands for. It was perfect, she was a vegetarian, she believed the three angel's messages, did not get involved with worldly activities and much more. Praise God, an endangered species. When she wrote to me, my heart was pounding fast and I immediately wrote back to her. She seemed almost perfect and, most certainly, heaven sent. It did not take long before I KNEW that this was the one that the Lord had prepared for me.

Valerie:

When I began speaking to him, all I could say in my mind was "WOW"! A true Adventist male, around my age, who was a vegetarian, and does not waste his time watching television, and studies his Bible and reads the spirit of prophecy. I thought i was dreaming. I just refused to marry someone who ate meat, loved sports, and was careless in his christian walk. He seemed to fit all I ever wanted and thought I'd never find! But of course, that goes to show and testifies to the FACT, that NOTHING is impossible for our mighty God!! We have so much in common with the way we wish to serve the Lord and we give HIM PRAISE!!!

Jeffrey:

Amen to that! She gave me moral courage to stand up for the Sabbath issue with my parents. The Lord put her in my life to help me with my issues just as He put me in her life to help her with her issues, in perfect timing. We finally met in person, the May of that same year, 2005, at Camp Kulaqua in Florida, and what a blessed event that was. Blessings were falling all around us. Then, I came and visited her in her home town in South Florida ( i was living in Georgia). I was late for the plane ride back to Georgia, and I do not think that I was ever happier about an event such as this in my life.

Valerie:

Yes, we were so close yet so far away. Well, when he came to Florida and missed his flight, it was actually the best thing. He had to quickly locate an apartment and employment. It was not long before we again put it in the Lord's hands about when we should marry as we were sure we were right for one another. We decided to marry in Dec. 2005 and it has indeed been a wonderful blessing! Praise the Lord!!

Jeffrey:

Praise the Lord. Now we are planning to move back up to Georgia. South Florida is an extremely crowded area with hardly any nature and not a good place to grow spiritually. We are counseled by God's prophet to move out of the cities as fast as we can. To move out of the crowded cities has been a lifelong dream for Valerie. With thanks to this website and all glory to God, this dream is coming true as well, as we having found our lifelong partners in each other. Amen.
