We met on Adventist Singles
We met on Adventist Singles Connection. Even though "gypsyrn" was skeptical in the beginning, we were soon corresponding regularly: first by email and ecards and later by phone. After several weeks, we agreed to meet in person. "Jascl" flew from St. Louis, MO to Burlington, VT. We met at the airport and went out to eat and had a wonderful evening together. We both felt very comfortable and safe with each other right from the start.
We continued to talk and email. After a few weeks, we met again. It was at that time that we discussed marriage and became engaged. Our wedding date is set for December 18, 2005. We plan to honeymoon in Italy. We are both very happy and anticipate a marriage full of travel combined with missionary service. We also expect to spend as much time as possible spoiling our grandchildren.
We would like to thank Adventist Singles Connection for providing us with a vehicle to meet and get to know each other. It is hard to see how we would have ever met without your help.

Despite distance and unusual circumstances!
Hi Christie,
I "met" my sweetheart on ASC last year when I sent him a smile after noticing his "harmless" appearance via a gentle, friendly smile. He called me just a week later and we started talking on the phone nightly. Despite the distance (1300 miles!), we started dating and then agreed to meet. We first met over Christmas break and I was SO nervous as we were talking for the first time over pizza. But, despite being nervous too, he did everything possible to put me at ease. And after a short while we were both hooked.
We got engaged New Years Eve and were married on March 17th. We are still in awe at this amazing blessing and our wedding was simply "magical". Being the type of people we are, our marriage was elegant but small, relaxed and fun. We talk daily and have spent the better part of our school breaks together and are both going to be attending Andrews University in the fall for our respective graduate schools; I will be entering the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and he will begin working on his Master's of Divinity. He is the best thing that's happened to me and I love him with all my heart! I thank the Lord for bringing us together despite distance and some unusual circumstances!

Love is full of signs
Hi, my name is Dennis and my user name is Heart4Him. I would just like to say, thank-you, for allowing God to use you and the site in helping bring myself and Morethanmanysparrows together.
We both have been praying and asking God to provide us a mate for eternity. I have used Adventist sites in the past, with no success, and
had given up on "internet dating." In July '04, God used a message by my Pastor at the Tampa First SDA Church. He spoke about how he met a special friend using an Adventist internet site, his story re-sparked my interest. The next day I put my profile in at your site (Adventistsinglesconnection.com) and told God that if He had someone special for me to meet this way, He was going to have to make it happen
and that I was ready to start a relationship, otherwise, I wasn't ever going to try "internet dating" again. Only days after I signed up Pam
(Morethanmanysparrows) and I connected. It was the first day she signed on! We have been, and will continue to be, allowing God to guide us every step of the way.
I can truly say I have found the woman of my dreams. I had a dream about a tall blonde woman, about a year ago, and there was something about
Tennessee in the dream too. I told my 16 yr. old son that I was going to be married and God had shown her to me. Imagine my surprise when I first
contacted Morethanmanysparrows after she had sent me a smile, it all came back to me when I realized she was from TN.
God is truly awesome!! We met for the first time Sept. 2, '04. Before she came to Florida, we prayed and asked God to show us if this was His will or not. We asked Him to give us a sign of His favor by allowing the sun to shine wherever we went on our outdoor activities during her stay. (I have to add that Hurricane Francis was due to hit Florida that long week-end.) We had the most wonderful time together with enough beautiful sunshine to convince us that God was shining His blessings down on us (especially when the force of winds were changed from a Category 4 to a mere tropical storm).
We plan to be married in Jan.'05. Thank-you so much for the blessings you have brought us both.
I want you and your team at AdventistSinglesconnection to know that Heart4Him and I found each other the very first night I was checking out how ASC worked. I accidently sent him a smile while he was online thinking that he had already viewed my profile (got a little confused that first night not knowing all the right things to click on). He then saw that I was online and decided to ask me if I would chat with him. I nervously decided I would and we have been in love ever since. He arranged to have me visit him in Florida, paying for the flight and hotel. It was during a hurricane, Labor Day week-end, but the Lord answered our prayers and gave us plenty of sunshine (turning the 4 rated hurricane into a tropical storm). God has shined down on us with His favor! We plan to get married in January. Thanks again for a wonderful job you all are doing.

I did meet a very special man...
When I went on this site, I prayed and asked the Lord if it were his will to lead me to meet a special man, a Godly man. I did meet a very special man that is continuously trying to have a closer walk with the Lord. He's very kind, and caring. We're in the process of getting to know each other and continue to pray for the Lord's guidance.

We both knew God had brought us together
Thank you Adventist Singles Connection for helping me meet the love of my life. On my 27th birthday in August of 2007, a friend predicted that it would be the "best year ever", the previous had been really rough leaving me wondering what God had in store for me next. Little did I know what surprises He had in store around the corner. The first week in September trinfo's profile caught my eye, so I sent him a smile. Thankfully he responded positively! A friendship was made as we corresponded for the next 4 months via smiles, emails and phone calls. We met on December 7th in person. He flew to Vancouver, WA from San Jose, CA. That spring we decided to date, although we had been exclusive for a while. After doing long distance for a year, he felt God calling him to Berrien Springs, MI and moved in September of 2008. We prayed about it a lot and both knew God had brought us together so I moved in December of 2008. We have had a wonderful year of finally being in the same area and getting to know each other etter...which is, among many other reasons, why I said "yes" when he proposed on my birthday this year! The wedding date is set for this December the 20th.
