I met my handsome prince!
I was told about this site by my brother and was a bit anxious about doing any online dating, but I tried it and had to sift through some toads before I met my handsome prince! I met Arguy and we have been married now for 3 and a half years. This was a very good experience and I hope others will find what they are looking for. Carlyn

We're very thankful to have met...
I just want to thank ASC for bringing Ryan and I together. =) We began dating on July 1st and we're both prepared to take things very slow. He is almost done with his college degree and I am about to leave for Navy boot camp to continue with mine. Our true test of faith still lays in front of us, but we're very thankful to have met and have the chance to try. He's a wonderful guy and will always at the very least be a dear friend =)

I felt like a lucky Irish man...
Marath05 has a twin in England that talked marath05 into joining Adventist Singles Connection. She checked out my profile and suggested to her sister that she check me out. We wrote by emails at first and then came our first meeting. This meeting came as a total surprise to me. I was hanging out at my house in Michigan. and my wife to be lives in Illinois. She called me on St. Patrick's Day and tells me she is on her way from Chicago to meet me. I thought when she called me that she was pulling my leg! But it was true. She had fished working her job at the nursing home, jumped in her car and drove the 165 miles to meet me that night!!! I felt very special that night as you can imagine. I am Irish and I felt like a lucky Irish man on St. Patrick's Day!!!! I also had to do a quick cleaning job that night before she arrived. She is Jamaican and I am American...talk about an international connection! We talk every night on the phone. I returned her visit when I came to Chicago. I got to make her homemade tacos which is my specialty. I got to attend her church which I enjoyed very much. They made me feel right at home and I took her to her first hockey game. Hockey is my passion. Who says hockey and love don't mix...she loved it except for the fighting!!! She has been up to my place quite often. I was also able to introduce her to one of my other favorite things...a drive in movie. We did that on Memorial Day. My MOM and her hit it right off. She really loves my mom and my mom feels the same way! God hears and answers prayers to let people know, but he does it in his own timing, which is hard for some of us to accept, me included. God loves us and has only our best interest at heart. We are planning a garden wedding in Parchment, Michigan on August 16th. A wish to all the others that are looking for true love. As Abraham in the bible said, "God will provide", and he will.
Thanks!

We clicked and know that it's all God's dealing...
First of all, we thank God for drawing us to this site, as we were able to connect. We got married on May 10, 2009 and are enjoying all that God is offering us. We keep God in the center of our relationship. Placid has moved to Tobago and is working on a soon transfer from his employer. We really did "click" and we both know that it's all God's dealing......
So we just want to encourage anyone reading this message, that with prayer and a desire, it will happen. We are both thankful also for meeting friends on this site. Continue to trust God and be blessed.

I was his very best friend.
David and I met almost 4 years ago. Since I was unavailable at the time, he kept checking back to see if things would change...just in case. When he saw that I was available, he made his move. It wasn't long before we were talking every day and getting to know each other. He was very thoughtful and romantic. For instance, one weekend he flew me down to Miami and surprised me with tickets to the Miami Dolphins' game. Every so often he would send me flowers just to let me know he was thinking of me. He would take me to concerts and plays and to the beaches of Miami. Unfortunately, we broke up for about six months. Those were the months I missed him the most. Then one day, he called and said he needed to see me. He came to Tampa and over the course of the weekend, he told me that he could not live without me in his life since I was his very best friend. We are making plans to have an August wedding. You just never know what can happen when you keep checking...just in case!
