We are totally in love with each other...
ANTICIPATIENCE....
I was assisting a friend in completing his profile on ASC, and out of curiosity, decided I would sign up as well, as this could be fun. However, after posting my profile, I had an inner feeling that this could be more than just fun, as I had a desire to find love and a meaningful relationship. So of course, I prayed about it, and God must have answered my prayers even before I asked!
Incidentally, the first person to have made contact with me was GCP22, by sending a smile and expressing his interest. Although I said I wouldn't respond to anyone who had no profile picture, for some reason I did reply to his smile. We sent smiles, cards, IMs, emails and virtually spoke with each other by phone every day for more than 2 months before we met face to face. He was easy-going, warm and honest, and when we finally met...we were completely comfortable in each others presence.
From the onset I found out that he was a member of the same church my brother and his family are also members of, and was able to confirm his identity among other things. But it was those first conversations and the fact that his open, accepting demeanor and sense of humor could shine through IMs and telephone conversations, that made it obvious he must be the one for me.
Of course, I met a few friends (and maybe foes) on ASC, but GCP22 stole my heart. We are totally in love with each other, and have maintained a long-distance relationship, spending time together as often as we can, and have recently become engaged. Our wedding will be in July of 2009.
We feel very blessed, and must say thanks to ASC for the wonderful site you have provided for SDA singles, and may God continue to bless your endeavors. To our friends who are still on ASC, be blessed!!

This is actually an update!! To God be the glory; Glen and I got married on July 4, 2009 and are enjoying and appreciating the fact that Jehovah has brought us together at this time of our lives. Our union is an absolute blessing!!!

Love happened when I least expected it!
Miracles still happen! A church member mentioned AdventistSinglesConnection.com to me and that very day I signed up and posted my profile. Within a few weeks, David (Inca4u) sent me a "smile" and the rest is history.
It is such a blessing to discover love so late in life (40s) and it happened when I least expected it! David's first wife of 20+ years had passed away and he thought he might be alone for the rest of his life. Both my parents had passed away and I felt very alone for the first time in my life. However, God saw our hearts and dreamed a bigger dream for each of us than we could imagine for ourselves.
David and I were married October 19, 2008 in a fairytale wedding: outdoors, simple & elegant and with close friends and family present. God is so merciful and loving. Thank you to AdventistSinglesConnection.com for providing the vehicle that changed the course of our lives.

We are perfect for each other.
Thank you Adventist Singles Connection, for being there. It will be 6 months of marriage on 12/26/08. We are perfect for each other. Euridete and I are very blessed and thankful for everything.
We met on 6/12/08 - Brazilian Valentines Day. After three months of messages, cards, and smiles, I asked Euridete to marry me and on 6/26/08 we married. What a miracle and oh how awesome. We had a big wedding; 60 of her friends were there. We moved to the mountains into the perfect small love cabin; A perfect place to grow together with Jesus and to have all this LOVE. God is so good to me.

Our love has grown...
Hearttoheart and Green955 met on this site Sept. 27, 2008 and just two days later, both clicked yes on each others profiles. From then on they started talking on the phone the first part of October and decided they should meet in person in the last week of October. We both had been praying for someone special to share our lives with and felt that God had drawn us together. Since then, we have been burning up Hwy 5 between our homes, thats about a 500 mile trip one way, but we feel it is worth the time and effort. Our love has grown and tomorrow we may hear the sweet sound of bells. We definitely would recommend ASC to our friends as a good way to meet a Christian man or woman. Thank you so much for a very pleasant experience.

It was love at first sight and has been heaven ever since.
I met Psalms16 on ASC who also lives in the same city as me. We emailed each other several times and then met for dinner on 9/5/08. It was love at first sight and has been heaven ever since. We plan to spend the rest of our lives together...Thanks to ASC.
