Something outdoors. For someone I've never met, I'm not at all opposed to simply joining a group activity. Though the time comes for one-on-one interaction, there's nothing wrong with building a foundation of friendship first (often hard with online dating). Whatever it is, I'd make sure it's something active and interactive!

The importance of honesty, and of letting God direct me. That there are no two perfectly compatible people - but there can be two people surrendered to the same God, and committed to serving Him and each other.

Daily walking with Jesus, taking Him our struggles and challenges. By His grace, living joyfully and enthusiastically with all the light He's shown us, and seeking actively to spread the joy of living with Jesus with others.

I hope to continue walking with Jesus every day. To be active in serving Him and others. If I have my choice, I'd love to serve both practically and spiritually, especially in an area where needs are great and little or no work has been done before. As pioneer missionary John Keith Falconer said, "I have but one candle of life to burn, and I would rather burn it out in a land filled with darkness than in a land flooded with light."

So many Christians make it seem as if living the Christian life is a sacrifice - but in reality, "Those who make God first and last and best are the happiest people in the world." (Messages to Young People 36)

I want to live in such a way that these messages are lived out in my life - so that I'm having so much joy from living with Christ, I can't help but want to let others in on the secret.

While "AdventuresInService" is a good descriptor, I partly wish I'd have gone with my more usual "MountainsR4Climbing", to keep things consistent with all the other online services I use.
