What I'd like to do on a first date...

A smile from across a crowded room from someone who loves you is pure joy. To make someone you love laugh is a gift for both. To focus on the person and not the circumstances is paramount.
To me, being an Adventist means...
being a Christ centered, Bible based, born again Christian. I believe we have been given truth that is not found elsewhere. I was raised in an Adventist home and was baptized by my maternal grandfather who was an SDA minister. What a gift my parents gave me.
In five years, I see myself
My hope is that Christ will return within that time frame. But if not, I would like to take more control of my time and spend it following the plan that God has for my life.
My favorite Bible passage is...
The sermon on the mount in Matthew 5-7. There is so much there but I find comfort in Matthew 6:25-34. It speaks of a loving God that knows ME. It is hard for me to imagine why. When I look at the heavens and all that vast expanse and all that the Lord has made, it boggles the mind to think that He takes thought of me and my name is on His lips. This is our God.
