Do something active yet calm enough to get to know each other better: a picnic in a park, walk on the beach, meet at Jamba Juice for a great smoothie, or something else simple, yet fun.

1) God must be the center of a good marriage
2) Communication & honesty are top essentials.
3) Life is short, work hard, play hard, and enjoy life.

Having a special relationship with God is very important to me. Sabbaths are a very special day for me because I get to leave my work behind and spend time with God, friends and family that I don’t get to during the week.

The best thing would be to be in heaven with all who love and walk hand in hand with God, but since we don’t know when that day will be, I hope to share God’s love by going on more mission trips wherever God sends me. It would be even better, if I had someone special to share that experience with. I want to do more traveling and see more of America and other countries.

There are so many good passages but a couple that seem to reflect where I am in life right now are: Jer. 29:11 and I like it from the Message Bible – “I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plplans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

I also like Prov 3:3-8, but especially 5-8 -"With all your heart you must trust the LORD and not your own judgment. Always let him lead you, and he will clear the road for you to follow. Don't ever think that you are wise enough, but respect the LORD and stay away from evil. This will make you healthy, and you will feel strong" (CEV).
No matter what we are struggling to get through, God is in total control and wants the very best for us. He is there to lead us, cry with us, hold us up, whatever it is that we need. I need those promises and he has been there for me.

I am hoping to find a best friend who is willing to be as open and honest as I am, and let that friendship grow to a long term commitment, if that is where God is leading us. Marriage should be forever even though it hasn't worked out that way for me, yet. I will take any future relationship very slow to really get to know each other.

I don't want to play games and 2-way honesty is a must. Are you willing to be the spiritual leader and get to know each other on a very deep and personal basis, letting God lead and be the center of our relationship? I take all my friendships seriously and will be a loyal friend or more if that is where God is leading our relationship.
