The first date should be very simple. We need to feel comfortable in the environment that we choose. The purpose of a first date is to get to know each other with no distraction.

Communication is the key to any type of relationship. One can not be self-centered in a relationship because it takes two to make a relationship.

To me, being an Advetist is being a peculiar people that is different from worldly people. We are the living representative of God. It was Jesus Christ who set the example for His people in how we should represent God to those that do not know Him. We, I must continue to live by Christ's example and no one else. It's a living sacrifice.

Though I may have plans, I'm learning daily to do the following: let go of my ideas and except God's ideas for me, let go of my plans and except God's plans for me, and let go of what I want and except what God desires for me. (these are not my words). I'm learning to live by it. He ultimately have control over my life because what has been accomplished thus far in my life has definitely been by His grace. The only credit I can take from the accomplishments is that I allowed Him to do it. I'm grateful for the partnership.
