Lunch on a pretty day, then walking in nature. Or dinner preceded by a casual walk. Talking, sharing, and getting acquainted casually to see if there is chemistry for more than friendship.

I have not had a dating relationship since I became an Adventist Christian. Communication is most important, as is affection. Being accepted and loved for who I am, neither being criticized nor putting me on a pedestal. While being good companions is essential, it would be important to have individual friends, interests and activities.

Loving Jesus and living by His command to love one another. My definition of evangelism is to follow Christ, be friendly, and be a friend. Then, if my friend is interested in theology, answer questions honestly. My church is central to my life and most (but not all) of my activities are church related. I came to the faith late in life, so I have had different life experiences than someone who was "raised" Adventist from childhood, so I would be open to someone who is a convert as well.

If it is God's will, I would like to be married to the man I've described and share our faith, lives, and work for God. I'd like to do as many mission trips as I can, as well as traveling for fun in and out of the U.S. I would like to take classes in photography, art and music.

This verse helps me when I am anxious, hurried, or worried. It gives me comfort and places me in the presence of Jesus.

God must come first. I have had a varied professional career and am willing to be spontaneous when an adventure calls. I like people very much, love helping/serving others, and enjoy getting to know those of another culture/country. I like the outdoors and walking and swimming for exercise. I am a gardener---mostly flowers---love nature, animals, an aesthetically pleasing environment, but I am not materialistic. I am an affectionate partner.
