I enjoy searching the Word of God for all Truth. I want to be all that God wants me to be. I am looking forward to complimenting the right Christian man, who can uplift and help guide me, in this life. I am looking forward to the soon coming of Christ. However, at present, I am alone with no one left at home but me.

I like to travel, swim, camp, hike, skate, sight-see, tinker with cars, ride motorcycles, ride horses, garden, help people, and learn new things. I enjoy activities from mechanic work on cars, to sewing things for children and grandchildren.

I volunteer some of my time working with out-patient treatment, homeless centers, and the like.

I would like to watch and learn about something you enjoy. I am always willing to try new things. I've recently gone back to college. I love school! We're never too old to learn. Right?? Also, I like trying new Vegan recipes and staying healthy.

I am praying for every person who is drawn to what God wants for them in reading this profile.

May God bless and keep you in His care till we meet here on earth, or in the world made new.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

Whatever is comfortable for both of us, with enough privacy to communicate well. Dinner, fellowship dinner, a walk along the beach (except I live in Missouri so the beach may be a little way from my house!!) A walk in the out of doors, a stroll in the park, or whatever...... I'm pretty flexible, and I like surprises, so maybe you can decide on this one.

My past relationships have taught me...

Putting God first, spouse next, family, yourself last, and honest communication, communication, communication. Being the best of friends is a must, and did I mention, honest communication is the key to a wonderfully successful relationship.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Living for Christ and doing all to please Him while looking for His soon return; and like Noah, offering the open door of safety, which is Jesus Christ, and the gift of life He offers to all.

In five years, I see myself

I would like to see myself happily married. I would like to own a home, and have another business become successful. I would also like to get a degree in Psychology for Christian counseling..... along with a RN license :-)

My favorite Bible passage is...

Psalm 51:9-10 ....blot out all my iniquities.... Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Rom. 12 ....but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind......
The Mind of Christ brings new beginnings with each new day!
And Rom 8:28... All things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose" We're all called.... but few choose to listen to that still small voice that never leaves them.
A word about Rom. 8:28 ....everything that happens, we can rest assured, that with every experience there is a lesson to be learned. Whether good, unpleasant, or indifferent, all things work together for good..... (God brings all things about for our good. No matter how much we've messed it up. He'll turn all around for our best interest, in order to glorify Him... IF WE LET HIM lead us!!)

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I have been alone for over seven years now. Alone for the first time in my life. I have had the opportunity to get to know me!! I have evolved (through Christ) into a much better person than I was a few years ago. I have been blessed with wonderful friends, and church family, who have been with me through thick and thin. Yet, I am still alone. I have come to understand much better what God said in Gen. 2:18; "...it is not good that the man (or woman) should be alone...."
I miss discussing things, sharing thoughts, ideas, hopes, and dreams, with my best friend (late husband) and sharing trust in one another equally. It's hard for me to go throughout a day without as much as a hug from the one I love. I have found that I am ready to be dedicated to another in my life.
There is no such thing as replacing a person, but there is such a thing as learning to love again.
Those simple every day things in life that make life worth living. There's nothing that comes close to the 'oneness' of a marital relationship. No other friendship, or kinship, could ever match up to that one unique relationship between husband and wife. No hug is as tender. The closest friend could never love as deeply, not even a child can ever fill that spot. Only that one true love that is there to the end could ever be able to fill that one place God has reserved for two people to truly become as one.
