I am an active Christian widow. I enjoy searching the Word of God for all Truth. I want to be all that God wants me to be. I am looking to compliment the right Christian man who can also uplift and compliment me in this life, while looking forward to the soon coming of Christ, together, and for the life to come. I like to travel, swim, camp, hike, skate, sight-see, tinker with cars, ride motorcycles, ride horses, garden, shop, help people, learn, tend to and ride horses, I like dogs, and animals. I volunteer some of my time working with an out-patient treatment center. I enjoy different activities from, mechanic work on a car, to sewing things for the children and grandchildren. I would like to watch and learn about something you like. I am always willing to try new things! I've recently gone back to college again. I love school!! We're never to old to learn.I love learning about things and staying healthy. I am praying for every person to be drawn to what God wants for them in reading this or anyone else's profile. May God bless and keep you in His care till we meet here, or in the world made new.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

Whatever is comfortable for both of us, with enough privacy in order to communicate well. Dinner, fellowship dinner, a walk along the beach (except I live in Missouri so the beach may be a little way off from my house!!) A walk in the out of doors, a stroll in the park, or wherever...... I'm pretty flexible, and I like surprises so maybe you can decide on that one.

My past relationships have taught me...

That being the best of friends is a must, and communication is the key to a wonderfully successful relationship. Putting God first, and your spouse before yourself and especially before anyone else.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Living for Christ and doing all to please Him while looking for His soon return; and like Noah, offering the open door of safety, that is the gift of the life to come, to all I come into contact!

In five years, I see myself

I would like to see myself happily married. I would like to buy a house (working on that one right now) get my daughter through school, and have my business become more successful. I would also like to get a degree in Psychology, and Christian counseling..... along with an RN license :-)

My favorite Bible passage is...

Psalm 51:9-10 ....blot out all my iniquities.... Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Rom. 12 ....but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind......
The Mind of Christ brings new beginnings with each new day!
And Rom 8:28... All things work together for good......" We're all called.... but few choose to listen to that still small voice that never leaves us.
Rom. 8:28 ....everything that happens, I can rest assured, I am to learn from each experience, whether good, unpleasant, or indifferent. All things work together for good..... (God brings all things about to good for us. No matter how much we've messed it up for ourselves, He'll turn it around for us to end up with the best interest to glorify Him... IF WE LET HIM lead us!!)

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I have been alone for over five years now. Alone for the first time in my life. I have had the opportunity to get to know me!! I have evolved (through Christ) into a much better person than I was a few years ago. I have been blessed with wonderful friends, and church family that has been with me through thick and thin. Yet, I am still alone. I have come to understand much better what God said in Gen. 2:18; "...it is not good that the man (or woman) should be alone...." I miss discussing things, sharing thoughts, ideas, hopes and dreams with my best friend that shares the same trust. It's hard for me to go throughout a day without as much as a hug from the one I love. Those simple things in life that make life worth living. There's no replacing the 'oneness' of a marital relationship. No other friendship or kinship will ever match up to that one unique relationship between husband and wife. No hug is as tender. No close friend could ever love that deeply, nor even child could ever fill that spot. Only that one true love that is there to the end will ever be able to fill that one place God has reserved for two people to truly become as one.
