What I'd like to do on a first date...
I enjoy surprises and I’m sure you do too, but the gist of it is: Get out and have fun… I really enjoy interaction with people and would look to involve opportunity for chatting, playing and learning. I enjoy spontaneity and creativity and believe that it’s important to think outside the box… A worthy goal is to make any experience a great experience!
My past relationships have taught me...
Sure, attraction is important (it's important that we make each others heart skip a beat), but she must absolutely love life... If she is a bit spunky and enjoys playful banter, she just might be a keeper! Best to start out as friends, take your time getting to know and understand each other...enjoy the moment... Don't rush things. I have also learned that true abiding “happiness” comes from God alone… That's the relationship that takes priority over all other relationships. A couple should share a rich life together filled with many joyful and passionate experiences, but they should not be responsible for making each other happy.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Great question… We are so blessed and are really learning that the most important thing to always remember is, “They will know us by our love (for Christ and for each other)”. I find this creates more opportunity for witness than anything else. I also love the fact that we have true family all over the world…that, wherever I travel, I can always find mi familia.
In five years, I see myself
Not easy to put into a few lines. I do indeed have dreams/goals/aspirations and they are in writing (from professional, to spiritual, to very personal). I would be more then happy to discuss them at the appropriate time for each…you just might be in a few…*Grin*
My favorite Bible passage is...
That’s a tough one… OK, I’ll note just one of my many favorites: Psalm 139… It speaks of the deepest of all intimacies. I love many of the popular texts, but find that as I read my Bible, countless passages help me to realize how blessed I am. Scripture is incredibly profound, compelling, and inspirational. I believe that no man (or woman) can come away from reading scripture unchanged.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
