I'm sort of a traditionalist when it comes to dating. A casual lunch or dinner somewhere would be just fine for a first date!

As most people in their thirties have, I've had my fair share of good and bad relationships. I've had my heart broken, and I know I've hurt others. I try to look at each relationship as a learning experience. They say hindsight is 20/20... and looking back I know there were many things in each relationship I could have done differently! This answer is much too complex... I'll have to answer it in person if we ever end up on a date:)

To be honest, I can't say I'm the most conservative SDA on earth. I think I am a good Christian, and every day I try to treat people with respect. I think being Adventist is about more than not wearing jewelry, not drinking alcohol, and making sure your face is seen in church every Saturday. I think it's about your personal relationship with God, and making sure that relationship is nurtured each and every day. I have been raised SDA my entire life, but I can't say I'm a perfect Adventist! But hopefully, as time goes by, I can continue to develop my relationship with God and become a better Christian. I'm a work in progress, so you will have to have some patience with me as we grow together spiritually...

I am very happy with where I am at in my life in all areas other than love... I have completed two master's degrees and I have a rewarding, professional career that allows me to make a difference in children's lives and pay the bills at the same time. I have an amazing family, two older brothers and five beautiful nieces. My parents have been married for forty years and they are the best mom and dad a girl could hope for. I have a beautiful home in a great neighborhood, and two adorable doggies who make each day a happier one. All I am missing is the person I am meant to share my wonderful life with. In the next five years, I hope to find that special person, and maybe even start a family with him.
