I'm a Canadian country boy and grew up in a large Adventist family. I have always enjoyed being out doors and working with my hands. I like to think I have some twisted sense of humor and looking at the world through slightly warped glasses. I am not afraid to work hard, and I enjoy most outdoor sports. (Although I've never been great at most competitive ones.) I have lived and worked in a variety places and fields and have done a bit of traveling. My relationship with God is very important to me, and is becoming a bigger part of my life. I'm looking for someone who shares my views and interests and might eventually become my best friend. Im having a terrible time trying to come up with what to say about myself, so if you want to know anything else you'll just have to ask.

Hang out with a girl in the least awkward situation we can come up with.
That it is extremely important to pursue a relationship with someone who is pointed in the same general direction and has compatible personality despite what initial attraction and chemistry might blur.
Being Adventist to me is completely and utterly pointless without first and foremost being a Christian. I believe that we as Seventh Day Adventists have the most complete truth that the bible teaches, but am afraid that we too often become more focused on being "right" than making "sharing Gods love" our most important motivation.
I'm hoping to make a career change that might allow for a bit more of a family life in the future, and maybe even start that family possibly...
And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. (John 17:3 NKJV)
I think this verse pretty much sums it up and makes it about as plain as it can be. There is no substitute for knowing God personally.
I would be happy to answer any further questions you might have...
