Have you ever had God answer your prayers?? I have. I was looking for one job and put it in his hands. He not only gave me one job, but gave me two. God is awesome. I walk with Him daily, looking to see where I can shine for Him. Hi, I am a 5'11", blue eyed, blond, and contrary to stereotype, I have a brain. I have sanguine personality type and tend to say what is on my mind. I love to travel, canoe/kayak, outgoing, love to make people laugh, fun, honest, down to earth, believe in the power of prayer, and that God is my personal savior, dedicated mother and a good friend to my children. I am a romantic and like flowers "just because", not for a reason ...although, a reason is good too. I am looking for that special someone whom I can share my everything with...Christ, family, ect... I am also looking for a gentleman, one that doesn't believe chivalry is dead. Looking for a SDA christian, so if your not, don't waste your time. Height is an issue for me. What I'd like to do on a first date...
Go to dinner, go for a walk, spend time getting to know each other, or just surprise me........except anything that involves free falling--Yikes!
My past relationships have taught me...
Being equally yoked is essential! God has to be first in any relationship. Giving of self is really important. God sets this example for each of us.
To me, being an Adventist means...
That I believe in what the Bible says to be true, that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. That I follow the bible in it's entirety and not just what suits me. That the seventh day is the Sabbath day, God's appointment to be with us.
In five years, I see myself
Continually grow in God's grace and character, finish my RN degree, find that special someone with whom I can share my life with.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Matt. 6:8, Knowing that my Savior is control of my life & all I have to do is ask, according to His will. Rom. 8:31, I know that if I have God with me, he will intervene on my account.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
God gave us two eyes to enjoy the beauty in his creation....we are also initially attracted to one another by sight. Display a picture! Without one, it is like going on a blind date with a bag over your head.
