Hello new friend! Welcome to my profile! Please, enjoy getting acquainted with me as you read what is written to share with you. Hope you feel relaxed as you peruse my profile. I would feel delighted if you message me to inquire about anything I have mentioned.

I have lived a full interesting life so there is no way possible for me to adequately introduce myself. My ASC name is Hon-knee pronounced as Honey. I grew up in the southern USA where it was acceptable to address women friends with terms of endearment.

Well, now that you are comfortable, enjoy reading. First, who am I? I am an intelligent, sincere, fun-loving bubbly, spiritual, affectionate single woman.

I have worked many years in school systems both public and private, Adventist and other denominations.

I love to study the Bible and share my discoveries with others. I take very seriously the following quote: "Why does not our faith in the great truths that we bear, kindle a burning ardor upon the altar of our hearts? E. G. White. {CH 32.2}"

On alternate Sabbaths I teach an adult Sabbath School Class. Then, on Sunday I am Youth Director of a Christian Church which means that I teach both Sunday School and Children's Church using Seventh Day Adventist materials. It was wonderful to enjoy teaching them and their parents what Jesus said about how he would like to be a "mother hen" gathering us to him.

Through the years I have developed many interests from jogging to sailing, etc. Currently I own and reside in my own single family home where I am active serving my church and my community.

Second, what am I looking for? I am looking for a special gentleman friend that might eventually be suitable spouse for a future life long marriage adventure. I am looking for a Christian gentleman who loving God supremely has a personal testimony of a close relationship with God and shows evidence of this love by enjoying children, treating women well, and sharing Jesus with others. This is part of the security and protection from a man I seek.

As far as worship goes, I am a participant, not a spectator. If this resonates with what your looking for and praying about, then you are welcome to message me for contact information. May God bless you as you serve and glorify Him! --Melvina

What I'd like to do on a first date...

Going to church is a priority but I do not consider a weekly worship service a date. That would seem a bit sacrilegious. For time set aside for a date then, go out, talk and get to know each other, go for a walk together, visit a historical site, zoo, nature center or museum together.

As we communicate on the internet, talking on the phone or texting, it will be easy to understand I love God's book of nature. So, I would enjoy doing something together in the great out doors if the weather permits and if you desire. Or be surprised by some other activity... I would basically enjoy the opportunity to communicate openly and freely whether this is going on a walk or attending an event. Of course, it is always delightful to worship together or cook together!

Getting to know another person within the simple daily routine of living can be quite charming(like cooking a meal together or taking a simple ordinary walk or working on a project together).

My past relationships have taught me...

... the truth of Proverbs 3:6. King James Version (KJV). "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Past relationships have taught me to acknowledge God within the relationship so God can lead me clearly through His Holy Spirit and the male partner in the relationship. Praying together is a necessity. If a couple do not have enough time to pray together they really do not have enough time to be together. THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

To me, being an Adventist means...

Being an Adventist means knowing the truth about God's everlasting gospel/love and daily sharing that truth in any way possible even if it involves using words.

Being a Seventh Day Adventist means receiving God's blessing during the rest of the weekly Sabbath and being fully energized to face a new week of sharing God's love.

Being a Seventh Day Adventist means knowing "time is short" and having my eyes on Jesus as He prepares to return to this earth soon to put an end to injustice and take His loved ones home with Him.

In five years, I see myself

I want to continue to serve my local church and to be instrumental in evangelizing the Jones, Oklahoma community. I would like to marry a "godly man" further glorifying God. (I understand this may mean relocating to another area.)

My favorite Bible passage is...

Psalms 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted throughout the earth." (KJV Cambridge Ed.) This scripture gives me direction and reassurance why I can safely follow that direction.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I did not notice when I selected the label Honknee the many pronunciations it can have, I wanted it to be a variation of honey such as Hon-Knee but I was not permitted to use a hyphen. ASC policy is no changes until the subscription year is up. I would now prefer "God'sVerySpecialPrincess."

I desire to fully be a Proverbs 31 woman appreciated by a Psalms 1 gentleman who is naturally joyfully and completely surrendered to God's revealed will.

Also, it is most enjoyable to be with a man who desires to communicate his thoughts, goals and feelings while at the same time he practices active listening skills. So, if you were so pressed for time that you neglected to fill out your profile or to post a photo, I will choose to pass on getting acquainted with you since you may not have the time for us to enjoy each other's company.
