Introduction

 

Easy going, flexible yet detail oriented, I love animals. I have horses and I breed dogs. I am interested in moving to Colorado as I do not like the humidity on the East Coast. However I leave this up to the Lord, He knows where I need to be. I'd hate to be far from my kids, but I do daydream about Colorado! I can think of several other geographical locations that would suit me tho!
I like to build things and do home improvements but I am currently semi disabled and cannot do all that I once could, but I'm still managing to fix fence and do other farm improvements. I like things done right the first time. I'm a jeans and t shirt type. Very honest, sociable and caring. I was vegan until I almost became an invalid due to a B12 deficiency. As I got weaker and weaker, none of the doctors said anything about the fact that I was vegetarian, and that all vegetarians should supplement with B12. I discovered the possibility of a B12 deficiency to be the cause of my problems through my own research, and after going on weekly injections I have improved greatly and even expect to get back on a horse as soon as we have a reasonably warm day! I am working my way back to a vegetarian lifestyle. I primarily take care of my farm myself, tho sometimes get some help with basic labor. I have always been told I do not look my age. I think not smoking has a lot to do with that! Not to mention, being a native Californian, I grew up on a lot of fruit!
I did not grow up an adventist, but when introduced to it, (Thank You God!) I was amazed how, unlike other religions, it totally made sense!
I would love to meet someone with a sense of humor, patience, true love for God and his word, (including Ellen White), must love animals, and a sense of adventure would be nice. Of course honesty, sanity and compassion are required, intelligence appreciated! :-)
