Introduction

I love the Lord first and foremost in my life and I have learned a lot about Him. Life is best, although not always easiest, when you follow Him. In terms of an help meet for me, I am looking for someone who wants to walk and sing along the narrow way with me. Personality wise I am a sanguine/melancholy and have learned, by the grace of God, to enjoy both sides of my personality. I am currently in the process of finishing a theology degree and I will probably end up in a ministerial capacity for my career.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

This might not be popular but I have a tradition of taking first dates out on Bible studies with me. Call me pragmatic but if you don't cut it there then we're probably not going to make it. I like to do more traditional "fun" things like mini-golf too but I am very work-orientated. Truthfully I need a woman who will call me away from those things just to do something fun for a change otherwise I'd probably work myself to an early grave. (-- Saying that probably isn't going to help me any on this site but I don't want anybody to have any misconceptions. Lol!)

My past relationships have taught me...

Oh where do I even begin?

There but for the grace of God go I?

It is a fool's quest to love someone because of their professed intentions instead of their actions.

Someone who is not born-again is enmity against God and cannot be subject to His law, if that is how they relate to the Almighty how then will they treat their significant other?

Two cannot walk together except they be agreed.

Women need unconditional love, tenderness and commitment like the lungs need oxygen and men need unconditional respect, admiration and physical affection like a heart needs a beat. That's what the soul of men and women live on in terms of love. In general what the other gender needs is what we find hardest to supply yet there must be a consistent and simultaneous effort to supply for one another.

Selfishness is a most pestilent destroyer of love.

The one who loves the most also gets hurts the most when their love is not reciprocated.

One person cannot have both sides of a relationship no matter how hard they might try.

Without honesty and trust no one can have true love.

Only God can change a heart, only He can grant agape love etc,...the list could go on for pages.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Total commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, living life to the fullest, being healthy and happy, sharing the good news of Jesus' life, death, resurrection, priestly ministry and soon coming! It means relying on His grace and being dilligent in the battle against self and sin. Everyone should be an Adventist!

In five years, I see myself

Complete my theology degree, become a certified medical coder (as another back up job besides security), get a new car, bench press 300 lbs, expand my personal ministry and make it official with a tax exempt status (I give away used cars- working on car # 4 and I do literature evangelism and itinerant preaching), play a quintessential role in reviving my local church and start a SDA apologetic (defense) website. Get married if the Lord directs and start a family of my own.

My favorite Bible passage is...

This really isn't fair- just one?

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Tim 1:15)

This verse shows who Jesus is- Savior! And who I am- chief of sinners. It's a match made in heaven and manifested on the earth!

One final thing I'd like to mention...

I have a fairly complicated home situation that I will share more about in private.
