Introduction
I'm an I/E NTJ on Myers-Briggs; a good listener; easy to talk with and a good conversationalist. Important areas in my life are my faith in God, helping those in need, and staying in shape and eating healthy. I am most thankful for salvation through Christ, a fantastic job, and growing up in the coolest family. I'm respectful, intelligent, genuine, organized, and fiscally responsible. Gym, biking, sometimes swimming to stay in shape. Reading history and the lessons we can learn from it I find fascinating. Used to speak Spanish fairly well, but am a bit rusty. Right brain activities include guitar, drawing, and painting. Chariots of Fire, Lawrence of Arabia, Doctor Zhivago, and Cool Hand Luke are in my top 10. Commercial free Sirius radio! I usually drive the speed limit unless being chased by the police. Flew trainer jets in the Air Force and used to jump out of perfectly good aircraft, spent a year on capitol hill as a senate staffer in 2005. I'm not your typical guy as I rarely watch sports or TV shows...oh, and I subscribe to the Economist.

That women need to be loved and cherished. They value intimate conversation. They need someone to listen to their worries/problems and don't always need a solution.

Living a life fully surrendered to God through the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Putting my faith into action even though Salvation alone comes through Jesus Christ. Truly loving God and others as ourselves. Being obedient to God's Word. Helping the less fortunate. I became aware of the Sabbath (Saturday) about 3 years ago through a Discover Prophecy series by David Asscherick. Since then, I have been been reading, studying, and applying SDA teachings in my own life. I have since been sharing these teachings with my friends and anyone who will listen. I'm convinced that the SDA church carries the prophetic words of Daniel and Revelation and especially the 3rd Angel's message. I want to be a part of this great movement and help in discipleship, evangelism, and preparing the way for the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. What is stunning/disappointing/surprising and makes me fearful is that there are some in the SDA community who don't embrace these teachings. Wow. I grew up in Sunday churches and at no time in my entire life had I heard of these great prophecies that make the Bible come alive and the reality that we are living in the end of time when the book of Daniel has been unsealed. I'm all in. I hope to find someone who is equally committed to their walk with Christ and has a heart-felt desire to live a fully surrendered life to Christ. I'm looking for a God-fearing woman who is passionate about her walk.

I'd like to go to the North Pole and ski/dog sled starting from 2 degree latitude. I know, not very practical, but I like the idea. Plus, I'd just like to stand on top of the world that God created :)

I Corinthians 15:52 (NASB) "...in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality..." Can you believe it?! Wow. Our weak and frail bodies will become immortal when Jesus Christ returns! That is very exciting. And then we live eternally with God. Can you imagine how we will be changed! Our toil, troubles, and tribulations are nothing to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us.

I am looking for someone who has a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It's not about religion, nor is it legalistic; it's an attitude/approach to life and our relationships/interactions with others. We are Christ's representatives on this earth (and for a very short period of time).
I'll also have to mention that I'm open to long distance. While it hasn't worked for me in the past, I'm looking for someone who is passionate about their walk. If there is chemistry when I see your profile/picture, and we happen to continue to have chemistry in emails, phone conversation, etc., then let's see how we can take it from there. I will need to be in prayer about it as I'm a bit out of my comfort zone.
I don't believe marriage will bring me happiness. I am already happy. I hope you can agree with that statement.
I have non-Christian friends and hang out with them regularly. They know what I believe and it gives me an opportunity to speak into their lives. Who else is going to reach out to non-believers?
If you've ever laughed out loud by yourself (in a coffee shop, in the library, at work in a big meeting, etc.) because you were thinking of a funny situation or thought of a great, ironic twist to a situation, you'll be in good company.
Also, I'm comfortable in getting to know you if the cause of your divorce was Bible-based. I'd be glad to clarify that if necessary.
Anything else? Well, there's more to all of us than any electronic profile can convey.
In any case, take care, good luck, and God speed with your search for your future husband.
