I am more of quiet person who likes to do things at home. I am very well known in my church as a person that does a lot for others and have been honored publicly for my life of service to others. I even donated a kidney to a complete stranger to help give them back a normal life and just recently my 20" long hair to make a wig for cancer patients.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

I would probably take you out to eat first. Then some place more quite like the beach or park so we could talk more on what we like and don't like in order to get to know each other better.

My past relationships have taught me...

It has only taught me what I've always have believed...that there isn't just ONE person for you. That if people make the effort, you could or would have a happy relationship/marriage with almost anyone if you tired.

To me, being an Adventist means...

More than just keeping the Sabbath. That is also has to show in your daily life at work, at play and in private.

In five years, I see myself

RETIRE in March of 2013. Then maybe I'll have the time finally to do a lot of different things that I have been "putting on hold." Such as being able to do more research on various topics I enjoy. Also being able to find time to read some of my 20,000 or so books and misc. magazines.

My favorite Bible passage is...

I am afraid I don't know the text off hand, but it is the one in Revelation in which it talks about there being sin no more and thus all of our tears will be wiped away. P.S. I hope I'm not getting it confused with an EGW quote like I often do since I've read almost all of her writings.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

My last close female friend thought that I was too busy doing things for others that I didn't have too much time to spend with her. She may be right. Guess I have been fairly content with my single life so far. But now I'm looking for a woman who will make me content with my life ONLY if she is in it too!
