Introduction

I am a self aware and self confident person, as I have been on my own for many years. I am at the point in my life that I would welcome a companion to share my leisure time with. In particular I am looking forward and realize retirement is fast looming on the horizon. A companion to share that time of my life is appealing.

It is critical to the success of the relationship to build a foundation of mutual trust, and be prepared to commit to each other whether you "feel" like it or not. Feelings come and go, and change over time, but as long as you are prepared to hang in there and work it out, you can be successful together.
To me, being an Adventist means...
It is a 24 hour 7 day week lifestyle. I have many secular friends and colleagues, and knowing the Lord gives me such courage, and inner peace living among these folks, that I am forever grateful, I decided to follow Jesus.
In five years, I see myself
I will still be working, doing community service, and serving in my church. Would like to be able to spend more time traveling and seeing the U.S.A
