What I'd like to do on a first date...
Go for a walk in a park and have a conversation on a park bench. Maybe a light lunch.
My past relationships have taught me...
Go slow and start off as friends. A willingness to listen to God. Best to just be "yourself" and take a risk even if there are "differences" because its the honesty that is admirable. Keeping regular times for communication/laughter/encouragement and discussion really helps feed trust and security. It is important to be willing to gently"teach" each other how to relate to each other. I have also learned that God is responsible for satisfying ones own happiness. Any type of relationship, friends, family or business God needs to be the center focus.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Being an Adventist in a world wide movement is just an awesome experience! I am totally behind God in loving his Church in spite of the imperfections of the members.
