Hi there, Hope your day is going well! A little bit about myself--
I care very much about people and value communication, affection, understanding and learning. I have learned over the years that sharing friendships or anything more is much more fun and long-lasting when those folks share your values and beliefs. I am a very intelligent, driven, passionate and compassionate person who is loyal and is very supportive to those that are close to me. I come from a big family and love the community it can bring and want to create that with my own family. I am currently involved in my church with a vespers group, and playing the piano and singing. My normal day includes working, going to local events with my friends and sister and my son. We love classic car shows, the botanical gardens and art festivals and local jazz, country, oldies lawn concerts.
Summer and Fall are my two favorite times of year. Continuing to develop my relationship with God is very important to me. I try to spend a few minutes every day having devotions and pray often for His guidance in my life.
As I'm sure most of us would say, I'm hoping to meet someone who has a life of their own they'd like to share as I would want to share mine with them. I hope to find someone who wants to develop a friendship by spending time together, having fun, and getting to know the other on a day to day basis. I value practicality and a lot of times feel the need and would welcome someone who can offer a different perspective to my own. On a spiritual note, when the time comes, the person I spend the rest of my life with will want to be the spiritual leader of their family and who prioritizes and personally strives toward maintaining a sincere relationship with God.
Hope that’s enough insight to start off with!

What I'd like to do on a first date...

On first date I think of something outside like walking along a lake, beach, going to a state or national park or botanical garden. Even just going to a local festival or event would be fun. Just a chance to create an environment for easier conversation and relaxed way to get to know someone better.

My past relationships have taught me...

Past relationships have taught me how to learn and adjust to how the other communicates; the value of compatibility with respect to faith, values, and goals and to love, care, respect and appreciate another person so they don't just know they are loved, they feel they are loved.

To me, being an Adventist means...

You show kindness and compassion to others and that you understand your actions are how you show others who Christ is.

My favorite Bible passage is...

Jeremiah 29:11; I have to believe God has a plan for me and for those I care about. This verse reminds me that we are not tiny grains of sand, indistinguishable in this world--God intentionally created everyone and has a purpose and vision for each of us that will fulfill our every need, want, goal and dream. We can ask Him to reveal thisto us and He will answer. I can depend on Him to be in control and to lead me as I navigate not just myself but my family though life.
