Introduction

What am I looking for?... someone easygoing, down-to-earth, affectionate and genuine with a good sense of humor who is open to a certain amount of spontaneity and will share my walk with Christ.

It's funny; people have always asked me what "my type" of woman was, but I've never really been able to put it into words. I recognize qualities I admire, ie: Sally made me laugh 'til my sides hurt… I felt very comfortable around Jane; she made it really easy just being myself… Ann was so down-to-earth, what a refreshing change of pace! A couple years ago I thought I'd found "THE ONE". She seemed everything I wanted in a woman, but, of course, "life happened" as it usually does and yanked the rug out from under me. Reflecting back, I think I realized what it was about her that seemed to make her perfect for me. It was simply the way she looked at me. That look where you know the other person is unmistakably thinking, "Wow! I love you SO much!” They look at you and in their eyes you see yourself with a cape, they make you feel like the only person in the room. I immediately recognized this look because that's EXACTLY how I saw her. Odd as it may seem, as time went by, the feeling didn't weaken, it got stronger. Ever since I've had that, I can't settle for anything less. I'm not saying this will happen immediately, but that's what I strive for. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I know that's what I give, 110%. I dive in heart-first, blindly at times. Now, I won't sit here and tell you looks don't matter. Anyone who tells you that is blind or trying to sell something. I WILL say, everyone has different taste and what is attractive to Peter may be a huge turn-off for Paul. That said, a lot of things I find physically attractive seem to be somewhat different from "the norm".

Me? I grew up in southern California (and a few years in Michigan) and went to mostly small SDA Christian schools. I'm affectionate, spontaneous, loyal, witty, charismatic and I love to laugh. I'm a bit of a Star Wars nerd (not over the top), I can't STAND Star Trek, and I'm a big Beatles fan. I have a PhD in cuddling, a black-belt in dorkiness and I literally just laughed out loud at how corny and random that all was! All that said, I much prefer face-to-face interaction over all this profile surfing.
