To me, being an Adventist means...
I have always been deeply religious and was raised in the church but became disillusioned and left the church for a few years in a quest to find myself (those 1970's years) but in truth, I left a church but never left the faith. During that time I actually brought others to the faith by explaining why I did or did not do or eat certain things. So, the old, "bring a child up in the way they should go"...held true for me. I came back in the late 70's. After looking into other beliefs and faiths it just made sense to me, as does the understanding that I can only be equally yoked with an Adventist man because of our core beliefs and values.Our beliefs and practices not only address spiritual health, but physical, and emotional health also...
In five years, I see myself
grow business venture -complete PHD program -marriage -water the seeds that I have planted in other areas of my life, continue to grow as a person...

One final thing I'd like to mention...
I am looking for a man who will be good to me and good for me and someone with whom I will be good to and for. I don't want someone to complete me nor am I looking for someone who needs a woman to complete him but to balance him. I'm open to black tie events as well as camping, cuddling,traveling, attending cultural events. Weekends to nowhere is a plus. While I love to nurture I am not available to mother one... Must know how to be yourself (with all your imperfections) - you're human right?(LOL) It is OK if your mind is still telling you you're 35. We need seize the day! Try new things!
