Walking and talking, mini golf or a church activity. I prefer a first date be in a group setting (such as with another couple).

I have not had many relationships. I wasn't that interested in dating in high-school and I found my late husband very quickly in college. My husband was in the military and went to Iraq. When he came home, he was not the same. He had PTSD. I learned what true commitment is. I absolutely loved him through sickness and health. I honored him and cared for him and supported him and gave him everything I had in me until the day that he died. I will never forget him but I trust my Jesus' leading and know that I can love again. I'm not sure what my future holds but I don't think my love story is over yet.

I am Adventist because the Adventist church upholds the standards of living, values and beliefs that I am passionate about. Adventism is a culture, not just a religion. It is a culture that I feel comfortable in but I also enjoy many Christian friends outside the Adventist culture.

I am currently beginning the process of obtaining my bachelor's degree in nursing. At this time I have my associates. I also plan to become certified in OB nursing as this is my passion. I will be 100% out of debt (still have some student loans) and buy a house (cash only). My brother introduced me to Dave Ramsey and I now believe that debt is something that should be avoided at all cost and my current lifestyle reflects that.

Matthew 25 Has been a big one for me recently. I have always loved Proverbs 16:3.

I have two little girls who are 2 and 4 so I would only be interested in somebody who wants to be a daddy. I'd love to have more children but am also content with my two girls.
