I think it depends upon the other person and what we both enjoy. It has been said that it is best to meet for a drink (nonalcoholic) initially, and then progress on to dinner, etc.

Mostly, I think a relationship works best when the two are best friends and don't place demands on one another. Also relationships thrive when the close times are interspersed with alone time. A relationship needs to breathe to grow. That things are never black or white and it is best to settle differences before the sun sets on them.

Being a Christian means spending time with a God who is present in my daily life. This is so much more important than the place we worship Him. (In fact, I actually feel closer to Him out in the woods than in a building!) I joined the Adventist church because of the Sabbath Day. I enjoy my Adventist family.

In the next 5 years, I plan to retire. I am currently exploring to see where I can make a difference in my community. Travel with friends is always nice and I have a couple of trips planned.

WOW! This is a difficult one! My favorite passage changes - or should I say I have many? Philippians, Romans, Isaiah, Psalms, Ruth, Esther....... how do I choose? Can I just say the Bible is my favorite passage and that I love it for the encouragement, the personal growth, the stories - and mostly because it shows me The Way?

I love life, God, dancing and having fun! I am caring and compassionate and hope to find many friendships with one that deepens and grows into more over time.
