I am a born again Christian. I'm romantic, caring and compassionate. My strongest ties are to my God and my family. I believe in having a monogamous, heterosexual relationship and in holy matrimony. I enjoy good food, traveling and vacationing, church camps, timeshares and amusement parks, and nature walks on the beach. I just started back playing the piano about a year ago; I like to play classical music, and of course, church music. I love Bible studies; my favorite books are Daniel and Revelation. I taught Sabbath School for 15+ years. Attend church every week. Would like to settle down and live in the suburbs or in a nice country home with a gentleman who has similar interests as I do and who loves the Lord and keeps God's Commandments.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

Meeting at a nice restaurant and having a good meal together would be a nice thing to do on a first date.

My past relationships have taught me...

What I've learned is don't be afraid to ask him lots of questions--and the reverse is true. I've got nothing to hide. I broke up with a guy who said he loved me but every time I asked him a personal question, he would not answer it. After a year, I still had not met his family and did not know where he lived. And the questions I had still went unanswered. You get to know a lot about a person when you get to know their family and their friends. If a person cannot answer your questions about themselves, or introduce you to their friends and family, tell them "good-bye." Most Importantly, I learned to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance. No, it hasn't been easy. I'm human. But God has brought me through it all.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Being a Christian is living what I believe. And, hopefully, what I believe is Bible-based. And that is why I am a Seventh-Day Adventist. Rather than telling people that I am a Christian—I chose to simply live the Word before them. They will figure it out on their own. There's a saying: "I rather see a sermon, than to hear one."

In five years, I see myself

I will be transitioning from working for Corporate America to, hopefully, working for myself. (1) One of my aspirations is to become self-employed. So by the time I retire, I want to be financially self-supporting. (2) I also want to resume my support (financially) of my most favored charities--radio and television religious broadcasts, along with one university and one secondary school. (3) And finally, I want to resume traveling to vacation spots inside and outside of the United States.

My favorite Bible passage is...

One of my favorite Bible passages (there’s many) is found in John 14:1-3; Keeping that promise buried in my heart helps me to rise above the toils and hardships, disappointments and discouragements of this life.
