Introduction

I am a fun-loving, caring and loyal friend. I REALLY love the Lord and know that I am nothing and can do nothing without Him. I have learned to place my trust in Him knowing that everything else will fall into place. I am far from perfect and grateful that He has not given up on me.

I am involved in a lot of volunteer work and have trained in the field of Disaster Response through Adventist Youth Emergency Services Corps (AYES Corps), the American Red Cross, Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT), New York Cares and others. I, obviously, have a passion for helping others. I like to have fun and explore new things and would like to travel more.

I am looking for that special someone who loves and obeys the Lord. Someone who delights in making & spending time with his spouse and/or children and is accepting of my two young adults. A provider, protector and someone who is faithful. A TRUE friend! Someone who is romantic and not afraid to express himself.

1) To consult and trust the Lord in all things. 2) Don't settle for less than what I want. 3) To give others the "benefit of the doubt". 4) Trust my instincts; they are usually right. 5) Can't always believe everything your told. Again, consult the Lord. He will give you direction and reveal all truth.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Having a personal relationship with the Lord, obeying His commandments and following the Bible principles on a whole and doing all I can to help my fellowman / woman.
In five years, I see myself
To strive to have as close a personal relationship with my Lord as possible. Be in a loving and God fearing relationship. Help my two children through college; and I have always wanted to get into real estate or have my own business.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Is. 41:10 I don't really have a favorite text because so many of them mean a lot to me. This one confirms that He will always be there guiding and protecting me through any situation; therefore, I have nothing to fear.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
The Lord has shown me that I DO NOT and WILL NOT settle for less than HIS best for me.
