First dates can be nerve-wracking, but exciting at the same time. A good location preferably out doors, perhaps a Sunday brunch on the coast, lots of good conversation with laughter, and if things go well a stroll on the beach or more conversation on the sand. If weather is an issue, the same scenario indoors works just substitute a nice quiet cozy corner in a bookstore or museum.

They have taught me patience, long-suffering, self-worth, and given me an attitude. I mean that I now believe in me more that ever and will not play games or take a emotional beatings or wear a guilt trip that might be offered even by someone I love.

I can not remember not being an Adventist. My mother was baptized when I was 5 and I had 3 siblings and 6 cousins all go through the same Academy. I want to know what is taught and held dear by non-Adventists so I have studied and visited churches and talked to many, but for my money and as for my internal list of truths nothing comes close to what I know is correct but what I find in the Adventist doctrines. That means not the organized church, and definitely not the lives of others in the church, but how I see the direction for having a personal relationship with Jesus and God.

I am a Manager now in a program to help people, but I would love to travel more and see our church in other countries, especially Europe, but I also want to learn languages, more music, and perhaps open another company to facilitate programs for the church and other organizations such as speakers on domestic abuse, self-motivation, women's ministry, substance abuse, ets. I have gathered many friends that are proficient in these areas and would love to work with me.

For many years it was "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" because I did not have the self value to belief I could accomplish anything alone. Now I know that I am never alone and "that God has a perfect plan for my life" I just need to walk with His hand leading me down the path and exclaiming at the wonders of all He has in store for me.

I have never been afraid to be alone, but life can be so much more because there is a quiet confidence when a person knows that someone else will always support, love, and stand beside you, and that there are not two but Three walking on the path together forever. A beautiful life can become radient, a glorius solo becomes a harmonius duet and troubles become mere bumps in the road.
