Retired, usually quiet, tend to be shy, confident, dependable, responsible, enjoy building projects, adventuresome, rarely enjoy tooting my own horn, enjoy learning and have diversified background and experience. I'm not gung ho on any particular subject but enjoy many. I like to cook, I make quilts, build projects, enjoy learning new skills and would feel more complete with a companion, friend, and maybe more. I think I'm better one on one than writing about myself. Am giving serious consideration to building a sailboat and sailing it around the world and possibly combining the trip with some Maranatha projects or ADRA projects. Anyone interested?

What I'd like to do on a first date...
I am open to ideas and whatever my date and I would both feel comfortable with.
My past relationships have taught me...
Choose wisely, people change and both must work to make sure the changes don't drive you apart. To start evenly Yoked and put in whatever effort needed to remain that way. Love and affection should never be used as weapons.
To me, being an Adventist means...
It is a continual learning and growth process, I want to be involved in the saving of souls for the Lord, how, I do not know but as my life unfolds, I'm sure it will be reveiled to me.
In five years, I see myself
I would like to have built my boat, continued my learning, and stretched my comfort zone, completed my shake down cruise, won the heart of my sailing partner and embarked on an exciting venture with God's blessing.
My favorite Bible passage is...
There are many, but I like this promise and goal, JOHN 14:1-3 and I Cor.13: 4-7 ,a description of God and our Lord Jesus Christ, the qualities of which are my goal.
