A first date should a learning or getting to know each other experience. A meet in an informal setting such as a coffee shop, or a lunch date were one can talk and express one's self to learn more about each other.

From my past experiences, I try to be totally honest and straight forward. As Benjamin Franklyn said, a man should keep his eyes wide open before marriage and half shut after wards. Something I am learning how to do, as we all come with baggage. One just needs to figure out if one can live with the others baggage.

I would like to be eloquent here, and really say something great. But I don't know if I can do that. I am not sure I can say what it means to be an Adventist, in reality, there shouldn't be a lot of difference between being a real Christian and being an Adventist.
I means that I try to be like Him. I am not always succesfull, as I am a work in progress. I am human, and a male. I make mistakes, but when I make mistakes, I talk them over with Him. There are no perfect Christians, and Christ Himself said that the Physician does not heal the Well, but the Sick.
I don't know what else to say.

Hmmm, since I am retired I can do almost anything I want. But, my goals and plans kind of depend on what happend with the economy and what the Lord does. But, I would really like to do a motorcycle trip of the Alps, or the USA. Cruise up and down Hwy 1 on the California/Oregon coast. Visit many of the National Parks.
Because I was a single parent, I had to work much overtime to make ends meet. This caused my weight to get a bit out of hand. However, in the past two years, I have turned this around. I have lost 70 lbs, and and working on another 40 lbs or so. I walk 8 miles a day, 3 days a week, and I am at the gym 3 days a week for a good hard workout and on those days I only walk 5 miles.

I am a hopeless and incurable romantic. I buy flowers for no reason other than "just because". I have been known to cry at movies, I am not sure if that makes me a "real man" or not, but it is honest.
