I am intelligent, articulate, passionate, musical, spiritual, athletic, and humble. I have a keen wit and a great sense of humor. I particularly enjoy tasteful satire. I am mostly conservative in just about every way, I suppose, but I like to think I'm open-minded. I am unstereotypically domestic for a man, and I'm also very in touch with my emotions and am willing and able to express them. Unqualified sincerity is probably my most redeeming quality :-)
I want a God-fearing woman who honestly and sincerely loves Jesus with all of her heart. Someone who understands the self-sacrifice and vulnerability that intimacy with God and her mate requires. Someone who deeply desires the incredible rewards that submitting joyfully to this process brings to this tri-fold union. I want for me what God wants for me, and I want to be for someone what God wants for her. It's just that simple.

Something romantic ...
What not to do :-)
Well, if honesty is the best policy, here goes: Being or being called an Adventist means little or nothing to me. There will be "good" Adventists in hell, and "bad" Adventists in heaven. There are sheep and there are goats. There are wheat and tares. I want to belong to the former on both counts, and be good seed sown on good ground. I see no need to embrace Adventism just for the sake of the name, or to distance myself from it just because I don't agree with all of their "unique" doctrines; nor, in particular, to identify myself with their self-proclaimed status as the "Remnant Church." It is what it is and I'm not responsible for or to "it." There, I think that covered everything. See ya at church Sabbath :-)
It would be nice to not be here in five years, huh? I want to be with a Godly woman who loves and appreciates me for who I am -- a caring and loving Godly man. If that happened tomorrow, it wouldn't be soon enough. If I am in a love relationship with God and this (hypothetical) woman, I can do or accomplish anything!
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Romans 12: 9-18 NIV
'Nuff said :-)
"Never Good Enough" by Carol Cannon
"What'd You Expect? Redeeming the Realities of Marriage"
by Paul David Tripp
"Finding the Father" by Herb Montgomery
All three of these books have changed my life -- the last two in the last year. "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."
Phillipians 3:12 NIV
Would you like to "press on" with me ...?
