Greetings!

Life is a blessing. God is great! I really enjoy life. I attend church faithfully and was raised in the Seventh-day Adventist church. I assist with teaching the adult Sabbath school lesson and enjoy leading out in a more in depth Bible study on Sabbath afternoons. For the most part I am a vegetarian. I enjoy outdoor activities (bicycling, hiking, walking, etc.). I have an unusual hobby. I enjoy electronics, science, nature, physiology and of course anything which provides a glimpse into our Lord's soon return.

It would be an answer to prayer to meet a fun loving yet humble Adventist lady who is sincerely looking for and anticipating the Lord's soon return.

What I'd like to do on a first date...
On a first date, I would enjoy meeting for breakfast or better yet doing something carefree together. A game of tennis, a hike, going to the zoo or an amusement park all sound like great ideas.
My past relationships have taught me...
I've learned to be myself. Trying to over please is certain to backfire. I have also come to realize from the few people I have met that it is very good to be equally yoked. Those with the world's viewpoint can steer Christians away from the Lord! It means a lot to me to meet someone of like faith. By the way, the most beautiful women in the world are the ones closest to Christ!
To me, being an Adventist means...
Being a Christian and Seventh-day Adventist means everything to me. I understand the role of the SDA church and why God placed it in the world. During my teen years the Lord moved upon my heart in a very powerful, intimate way. I definitely hold Philippians 1:6 close to my heart, "He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ..."
In five years, I see myself
In the next five years I would hope the Lord had returned and I'm walking hand in hand with Him. Have you ever turned on some relaxing music and just pondered the day when we will walk hand in hand with our Lord? However, if I am still here in five years I imagine I will continue with my current job which is leading me down the corporate accounting path. I'm totally open to God's leading.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Different passages jump out at me at different times. I enjoy many of the passages in Psalms which speak of the unutterable happiness and peace we will experience in the presence of our Lord. "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him." 1 Cor. 2:9. And "the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away." Isa. 51:11. Who else will join us in singing? "The Lord thy God... will rejoice over thee with joy... He will joy over thee with singing." Zeph. 3:17. Wow...
