Introduction

Caring, compassionate and positive woman of God... at least I'm working on having that closer relationship with Christ. I believe that I will not be blessed with that special person unless my relationship with Christ is grounded. I have four children although the oldest is 50-50 between my house and his dads. I am also looking to be a foster mom to my neice who has been in foster care for the last year. As you can see, family is important to me. I live close to my parents who also has my quadriplegic uncle living with them. I assist them in his care as well as my dad who is legally blind. d

I believe a relationship should hold a foundation of friendship first. Each of us should have a strong connection with Christ as we pray and ask guide to us to the relationship that is in HIS will and not our own. This doesn't happen over night and therefore am willing to take our time getting to know each other and building that friendship in Christ.

What I'd like to do on a first date...
Talk, talk, talk... I think the best way to get to know someone is to just talk. Every good relationship requires honest and open communication from the very beginning. Any place that where we can have our attention totally on one another, would be ideal.
My past relationships have taught me...
Past relationships have taught me that in order to be truly connected, both need to have a seperate, grounded relationship with Christ. Christ needs to be the center of our relationship from the beginning. We both must be honest, willing to communicate at all levels, and willingness to work things out and not run away. We need to be friends first and let god lead from there. God
To me, being an Adventist means...
Being an Adventist means being able to be different and love it. We must set an example to everyone we come into contact with. How we live our lives is a reflection of our heart.
In five years, I see myself
In the next five years, I hope to have an outstanding relationship with Christ, first and foremost. Secondly, I hope to have a better relationship with my kids. The rest is totally up to God and His plans.
