Past relationships have taught me to love and care in the present. Talk and share now. Openness is so valuable in a relationship - it is totally scary but when I put my total trust in God and do as He leads me to do, I know God will work the friendship out for His good and glory.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Adventist? means a person that believes in the second coming of Jesus Christ. A person that believes and loves Jesus Christ - now that is who I am and what I am looking for in a friend/partner/souldmate.
In five years, I see myself
I would like to participate in mission trips and partner with and support a like-minded person. I love volunteer work and so expect to retire in 3-5 years and be able to spend time volunteering with my church and in my community.

God knows the plans He has for me - plans to give me hope and a future.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
I am open-minded and accepting. Since being divorced and widowed, I have reconnected to the church of my childhood (SDA). It is my desire to become good friends with and partner with a person that is strong in his SDA beliefs - believing in a strong spiritual influence in our lives and worshiping God as the supreme creator and ruler of the universe.
