First dates MUST be fun.. I truly enjoy conversations and the "getting to know each other" part. However, with that said, I am not the chatter-box type of girl either. Therefore, I would prefer a place where conversations would be possible but not forced... Surprise me!

Moreover, I admire a guy with a plan; uniqueness and creativity. These qualities are great ice breakers and leaves an amazing first impression. It doesn't have to be extravagant or expensive to be special.. the most important thing is that both individuals have fun and have time to get to know each other.

First of all I believe "You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers, but you can tell whether a man is wise by his questions" However "actions speak louder than words."

In general relationships have taught me:

- Communication is imperative, yet great communication cannot be obtained without a great deal of effort from both sides.

- Timing is everything: While everything else may be perfect if it is the wrong timing, the relationship will not succeed. Another lesson about time is that it takes time to truly know someone, therefore there is no need to rush into anything.

- Trust takes time to build and it can devastating when it is broken because the relationship may never be the same.

- Love goes beyond a feeling. Being "in love" is a decision one makes everyday to love that person regardless of the differences.

- Differences in opinion and even verbal confrontation (as long as is in form of open dialog) have a place in the relationship.. but both individuals must approach the situation in a loving and respectful manner.

Finally, a relationship must be God-centered. He should be consulted and praised on daily basis from both parties.

Being a Christian means loving God with all my heart and mind while allowing Him to change my character and guide me in the right path. Being an Adventist means to live by God's laws and expectations for us in this earth, to serve God in our church or community and to honor the Ten commandments which includes the Sabbath.

I will be wherever God leads me to be. I know God will be with me at all times, because He has show His grace and love for me in the past. Nevertheless, I truly would like to finish my Master's degree, own a house and perhaps fall in love and get married... in the upcoming years, not necessarily in that order and not necessarily in the next five years :)

Jeremiah 29:11 Because I like to plan things but God always smiles and makes up his own plans.. which are usually better than mine.
