Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm pretty outgoing, down to earth, optimistic, and very excited about the bright possibilities ahead. I choose to put God first and foremost in my life, and let Him lead me in all things. I'm told I am fun to get along with, and am notorious for maintaining a cheerful disposition. I've never liked making mountains out of mow-hills, lol. I am a gentleman at heart, and have been raised and taught to treat ladies with utmost respect. Thanks to some incredible, Godly parents whom I love dearly. :)
Some on these singles sites have written me wondering if I am really being truthful about my age. I assure you, I am. Most of my life, I have been mistaken about 8-12 years younger than my age growing up (even more so in real life), which was not the most pleasant experience until my late 20s. It's probably a combination of good genes [both of my parents look far younger than their age] and very healthy eating and lifestyle. I have had to show people my drivers license ID more times than I can count (and no, not for drinking, as I don't drink lol). So with that said, I'm hoping that some of the younger ladies (i. e. 20-28) may be more open under these circumstances to take that into consideration.
I'm a 4th generation SDA who grew up in a missionary family that traveled quite extensively across the entire US and also lived in Venezuela during my childhood for several years while my parents were doing Bible work down there. (My father is a retired minister originally from Venezuela [although European-Spaniard descent] and my mother is originally from Wisconsin.) Let's just say there are a lot of adventurous stories I could share! I lead out in Bible studies now and then when I can, and really enjoy studying the Bible, writing and reading. The Bible prophecies fascinate me! Health, nutrition, and fitness are also important to me. I'm studying Naturopathy on the side. Previous to this I studied Computer Science in the field of Networking, Hardware, Troubleshooting, and Web Design.
Traveling is a favorite past time of mine. I travel to California, the West coast, and Florida quite often. There's nothing like the beach. I enjoy snorkeling whenever I can, and have always enjoyed doing it with my dad. :) I also enjoy hiking, biking, and boating. I'm a firm believer that one can have good innocent fun in this world, yet stay out of trouble. It's a matter of staying close to God, staying true to principle, growing in His grace, and being a good witness to others. =] And at the same time, remembering that this world is not our home, but we are here passing through to go to our heavenly home! =] None of us are perfect. I'm not perfect. But I believe in striving to do what is right according to the strength He has given me. :) "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Phil. 2:13).
I am told that I can be very funny at times with a good sense of humor, and it doesn't take much to get me into a "fun-spirited" mood. :D I love that verse that says: "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine" (Proverbs 17:22) :)
I have learned a great deal from my past experiences and, and was not always interested in spiritual things. But the Lord sure works in mysterious ways, and has sure had His way of performing some great miracles in my life. I work an online/home-based business, and am free to travel just about anywhere I want, for which I'm thankful to God for. Relocating far away is not a problem for me should God impress me to do it.
Some have asked me why on earth I'm still single, lol. The simple answer to that question is that it seems to be more difficult in this day and age to connect with other Christian girls who hold the same religious morals and principles. But I realize the problem also goes the other way around. Hopefully a site like this will help to close that gap. I in no way ask for perfection, as I'm far from perfect. But I choose to do what is right according to the best of my God-given abilities, and I am hopeful to God that He will guide me to a girl who shares these sentiments with me, enjoys traveling, likes to study her Bible with me, and cherishes good communication and honesty. Or at least is striving to improve in these areas! =] . I would hope that she desires to grow in her walk with God alongside me, challenge me, and encourage me along the way, as I intend to do for her. :) I would hope to first make a best friend--as that is where the foundation begins. So if you're out there, by all means, feel free to message me! hehe =]

As far as a suitable place to "meet up", well, if it isn't so cold outside, I'd love to take a walk in a park, or any outdoor recreational area. Aside from that, I love to dine at healthy-oriented restaurants if they are around, and love showing off some of my favorite vegan-vegetarian gourmet dishes that just tantalize your taste-buds! ;) I'm open to anything, and am very easy-going.
I would certainly want to learn as much as I can about my possible, new life-mate. =]
To put God first in all things and learn not to try and carve out my on future without Him. To let Him lead every step of the way. To take the bull by the horns and realize that if God is not in the picture, the relationship WILL fail. With Him fully in the picture, Lord willing, it will SUCCEED! :)
Being an Adventist Christian means a complete surrender of self, and becoming dead to the world. It means to love God with all your heart, mind, and soul and to follow through with our daily actions.
A genuine Christian strives for the following characteristics:
1. Education (the theory of the truth, and an understanding of the Bible and Word of God)
2. Application (to daily apply and put into practice the principles we have learned and know to be right)
3. Discipline (after applying the truth to our daily lives, we must constantly look to Christ, or else we will fall off the narrow path. We must discipline ourselves to stay the course through, and cannot even for a moment feel a sense of security without putting our full trust and faith in Him)
4. Imparting (not keeping the truth to ourselves, but having a sincere desire to share what we know and have with others)
I intend to be traveling a lot more around the world for 3 purposes:
1. Missionary work – helping to spread the good news of Christ’s soon return
2. Site seeing and enjoying a good time exploring all the beautiful scenic places of the earth – my favorite being “Bora Bora, Tahiti!”…to just relax on a romantic island and make the best of God’s nature. :)
3. To promote my business and have fun at the same time doing it.
John 17:21-23 -- “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”
This passage is my favorite because it clearly outlines what must be accomplished before God can put an end to sin. God’s true, faithful commandment keeping people, will be “one” (perfect unity) before His final work can be accomplished. Jesus prayed that we may be one with another as the Father and Son were one with each other. If you sit down and think about that, there can be no closer bond. This means that it is the duty of ALL Christians to come into harmony, and find other people who are willing to do the same. It also means becoming open to correction and new light God may want to share with us, and to bury our pride in the dust. I also intend to have this kind of relationship with the girl I cast my lot with. There can be nothing more beautiful than that. :)
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” -- 2nd Corinthians 6:14
The Christian life is much simpler than we make it. Every human being was born with a “WILL”, which means we have the power to choose. Although the desires of our flesh may pull us in one direction, God will give us strength by simply “choosing” the right path. Once we have simply made up our minds to put God first in all things, the Christian walk becomes like medicine to the soul.
I entreat you, do not let this small life go to waste…
“Only one life twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last!”
