a meal out, a walk, maybe a visit to a museum or a movie.

That there is nothing like finding the right person, companionship is great, love is worth looking for.

Following Christ in all ways, putting Him first in my life. Believing in a distinctive message that is unique in today's world.

This is one of many favorites, I especially like the Psalms as they are full of praise & honor for God. They lift me up when I need lifting.

I grew up as a 3rd generation SDA, worked at a church mission in New Mexico in my 20's, then left the church for many years. I've returned to it in the past year & am working towards re-baptism. I now attend a lovely church in my city, it's 8 blocks from where I live so I walk to church. I love the people there, they have taken me right in. In my time away, I was struggling with the idea that churches are political entities &, well, I've made peace with that, everything is different now that I am older. I've come to realize that the church body is very important to a Christian when struggles arise. I can email my Sabbath School teacher, & we can talk......It's such a good feeling to be back.
