I am easy going and down to earth. I am very close to my family. When they are happy I am happy. When they hurt I hurt too. I cherish and value precious time with family and friends alike.

I like various things such as listening to music, dancing, cooking, biking, traveling, learning about different cultures and customs, playing indoor and out door games, or just doing anything for fun period!

I love eating mangoes, climbing trees, star gazing, and walking barefooted on the beach.

I am looking for a truly God fearing man with sensitivity, charisma, chivalry, and good looks who shares the same/similar interests as I do.

What I'd like to do on a first date...

Going to the park, hiking, bike riding, watching a live/theatrical show, bowling, or participating in a light fun filled public event.

My past relationships have taught me...

To appreciate different cultures and adapt to different situations and challenges that life can sometimes present.

To be assertive, less self conscious, and less of a perfectionist.

To invite my audience carefully in this theatre called life. That everyone is not healthy enough to have a front row seat in my life. That there are some people that need to be loved from a distance.

We can make amazing accomplishments when we let go, or at least minimize our time with draining, negative, incompatible, not-going-anywhere relationships, friendships, or fellowships!

To observe the relationships around me.

To pay attention to which relationships lift and which ones lean, which ones encourage and which ones discourage, which ones are on a path of growth up hill and which ones are going down hill, which ones have drama or don't really understand, know and appreciate me and the gift that lies within me.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Everything! My christian conviction is what drives me, without Christ I am nothing! I am looking forward to His soon return. I am mindful of the fact that I am only occupying this place until He comes or until He calls me home. During my pilgrimage here I endeavor through His grace and strength to be a good steward knowing that all I have, all that I am and ever will become, I owe it all to Him. The bottom line is I love the Lord and aspire to be faithful, available, teachable and obedient to His will.

In five years, I see myself

Spiritual growth as well as well as growth in my career.

With God's guidance, decide who gets to sit in the FRONT ROW and who should be moved to the balcony of my life.

Find that person God intended for me to share my life with (in every sense of the word).

Start a family.

Travel to different places such as Africa, Australia, India, Japan, China, and other Caribbean countries.

Surround myself with positive influences. While I cannot change the people around me I can change the people I am around!

I pray for wisdom and discernment to choose wisely the people who sit in the front row of my life.

Achieve my goals by seeking GOD and the things of GOD, seeking quality, seeking not just the hand of GOD but the face of God, seeking things honorable, seeking peace of mind, and seeking love and truth.

My favorite Bible passage is...

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strngthens me!

This gives me hope to carry on each day knowing that God is the source and the strength of my life!

I can walk with confidence even in the face of disappointment, difficulty, conflicts/confusion knowing whose I am and that He will never leave me nor forsake me.

I believe that al things are possible with God!

I can rest assured knowing that all things work together for good in my life and if God doesn't work things out the way I anticipated I don't mind waiting on Him because He's got a better way/plan for my life.

One final thing I'd like to mention...

Know your worth but please don't take yourself too seriously.

Laugh, love, learn, live!

Consider this scenario:
In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question
"What kind of man are you looking for?"

She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking, "Do
you really want to know?"

Reluctantly, he said, "Yes." She began to expound...

"As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he
can do for me that I can't do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care
of my household without the help of any man...or woman for that matter. I
am in the position to ask, 'What can you bring to the table?'

The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money.
She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "I am not referring to
money. I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection
in every aspect of life."

He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain.

She said, "I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection
mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation.
I don't need a simple-minded man. I am looking for someone who is striving
for perfection spiritually because I don't need to be unequally
yoked...believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster. I need
a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don't need a
financial burden.

I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go
through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded. I am looking
for someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive, I must respect
him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn't taking care of his
business. I have no problem being submissive...he just has to be worthy.
God made woman to be a helpmate for man. I can't help a man if he can't
help himself.

When she finished her spill, she looked at him. He sat there with a
puzzled look on his face.

He said, "You are asking a lot. She replied, "I'm worth a lot."
Every man who if he's
honest with himself can admit that this is true.
