Introduction

I am shy when you first get to know me, but once I become more comfortable, I open up. I believe that life should not be taken too seriously, and I enjoy spending as much time as I can outdoors doing all sorts of activities. I love to travel and to explore and experience new places first-hand. I play on my church's softball team in the Adventist church league every summer, and that is something I really look forward to. I also love animals, especially cats.
I am looking for someone to join me on my adventures and explorations, someone who likes to travel and experience new things. I want someone who has put God first in his life and who is not afraid to stand up for what he believes. I am looking for someone with a great sense of humor, someone who can laugh at himself when he makes mistakes. What I'd like to do on a first date...
I am all about informal first dates. Being shy, I'd much rather do something fun, like play minigolf, go hiking, or go to a zoo, rather than sit down to a formal dinner.
My past relationships have taught me...
No one is perfect, especially me. Communication is of ultimate importance. No one should go into a relationship with the idea that they can change the other person, even if that other person has mentioned an interest in changing. Being oneself, and letting the other person be themselves, is very important. Both should be willing to make sacrifices to make the relationship work. If one person is willing but the other is not, the relationship will go nowhere!
To me, being an Adventist means...
Enjoying the Sabbath rest that God has so graciously given us, and using it as a day to get closer to Him, and having a very special message to share with the world. I am thrilled to be a part of this Bible-based faith and am excited to see Jesus coming very soon to take us home!
In five years, I see myself
I have no idea what God has in store for me in the next five years. I hope that I will find that special someone to start a life with and build a home and family with. I know that God has a plan for me, and I am looking forward to seeing what that plan entails! I hope to be able to go on mission trips with various groups, such as Maranatha, throughout my life as well.

One final thing I'd like to mention...
I have many hobbies, both indoors and outdoors, and I am looking forward to finding someone who will share in many of those same hobbies with me. Having grown up as an only child and a daddy's girl, I enjoy things that not all typical females enjoy, such as drag races, monster truck rallies, rodeos, classic car shows, airshows, motorcycle riding, etc. I also enjoy snow skiing, caving, rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, camping, and other outdoor activities.
