Introduction
Music is a large part of my life as well as my studies. I play the piano and it has been a big part of my life. My ministry of music at church has been important to me and a blessing in my life. I enjoy downhill skiing, mountain biking, etc. I love animals of many varieties, especially German Shepherds (I also own one). One of the things I have always enjoyed is being out in nature. The peacefulness and the time it gives me to reflect on my relationship with God has been very important to me. First, and foremost, I believe that God must be the center of a person's life. He has led me all along the way in my life through successes and hardships. Secondly, I believe that in a relationship of any kind, honesty and loyalty are some of the most important elements that an individual can possess. I try to live up to these ideals and it has defined who I am.
I believe that God is our pillar that we must lean on. I attend church weekly, but I believe that religion and faith is something we can only claim if God is our personal Saviour, not by attendance. My faith in God has been tested many times, but I know He has led me all the way. He helped me in college to succeed and to never let go, He always provided me with the right opportunities in life's education and maturing and He continues to guide me day by day. My favorite quote from the bible and for my life is "and lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." He has proven it to me time and time again.
I have a bachelor's degree in Biology. I am currently in nurse's training preparatory to becoming a nurse practitioner. My life goals are to finish school and to use my training to improve other people's lives and the love of God.

Essays
It depends on the situation. Ask me.

Don't assume; patience is a virtue; love is shown through actions, not just words; every setback is a lesson to be learned from and an opportunity to grow. Most importantly: love must be shown through actions, rather than just words.

Knowing that God is the central figure of life. Church is an institution, but the principles and love God teaches us to have is what we should attempt to live. Being an Adventist means living to understand truth, living to learn truth and living to live the truth.

God will lead me in the direction I will go. But, I intend to enter and complete a Nurse Practitioner's program and to start a clinic in a rural setting in either Oregon or Washington (plans are of course always up for change). I also intend to have or be working on the possibility of a family. In the end, God will have to reveal my ultimate destination, which may not lead in the directions I expected.

"I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me." (Psalm 30:1)
In my life God has protected me in ways that has always astounded me. I have seen miracles that are still difficult to comprehend. I can look back and see God's hand in lifting me up in times that I was weak and in a tight spot, giving me success when it was certain that I would fail.

To make it simple: I believe in love, honesty, faith, loyalty, enjoyment in the simple things of life, seizing the moment, and most importantly God's love. All of these things define who I am.
