I don't date. But if I did: stargazing, driving by the ocean, swimming with the fishies.

Though my priors were in the last millenium, I'll make two observations from platonic encounters: In building our closest bonds, there is no greater joy than interacting with someone (1) who has a sincere love of God, and who is (2) honest, trustworthy, and loyal. Such persons are precious gems - and I guard them closely.

Emulating Christ. Call me radical, but I think we need to get back to our Christian Connexion roots - personal Bible study/ personal spiritual experiences, non-creedal, congregation-focussed. In this sense, "Adventist" should be an adjective, not a noun. It describes our hope, but it is not free-standing, for it must always be wrapped around a message of "Christ, and Him crucified."

God only knows - I don't know what the future holds, but I do know who holds my future. These past five years have been a rollercoaster, living in 3 countries, studying and working. I desire to settle down somewhere. While travelling has its benefits, I do value stability.

Perhaps I'll start a PhD.

Micah gives me a practical path to live by in my Christian walk: "Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God." (I must say I appreciate the legal allusions too)

2 Chron. and Psalms give me assurance that no matter where I am or low I've plummeted, I have a Saviour who cares, who loves, who saves.

I'm a man of few (but many) words, endowed with an odd sense of humour and wacky wit. Proceed with caution.
