This is a loaded question.

I've learned to take time to really get to know each other... not to talk about marriage during the first 6-12 months of dating.

I've learned that talking too much about past relationship experiences actually does more damage than good.

I've learned that we all make mistakes and that forgiveness is essential to a healthy relationship.

I've learned that everything has a time and a place... and that sex was designed for marriage and not before... that I am weak in this area and need to make a conscious effort to avoid placing myself in temptation.

I've learned that long distance relationships are not for me!

It all starts with being a true Christian, following Christ and his teachings is the foundation. I believe that Ellen White is a prophet, but I don't believe that one must follow her teachings or acknowledger her in order to be saved... she is simply a supplement and not the main course. 

Purchase a home, advance my career, establish a sincere relationship with God, find someone to share my life with.

I like the book of proverbs because there is a lot of wisdom in there. I also enjoy the story of Joseph... a true "from rags to riches" story.

I'm not interested in meeting people that have legalistic (religious) views... those that enjoy pointing out the flaws (sins) of others in order to feel better about themselves.

I'd like to meet someone that is open minded, independant, and can easily adapt to the various obstacles that life brings.
