Introduction

I am A SDA woman who has been preparing herself for the Man that God has out there for her somewhere. I have been faithful and Patient and learning everyday to have that special closeness with our Lord and Savior, so that I will be ready. I'm not picky, I am old fashioned in my beliefs about the family roles, I am looking for a Man who will be the Priest of the family and take charge with Worship and putting our relationship second to God. I just got back from 3 weeks at the Black Hills Health and Education Center after caring for and then losing my Dad recently, I needed Physical Mental and Spiritual Healing. I have also always wanted to be Vegan not just Vegetarian, So this was a wonderful experience and I am now back home experimenting with my new way of cooking. Not doing too bad either. I love to cook so this was just the next step in learning about the health Message that I grew up with but haven't practiced too much.

What I'd like to do on a first date...
I like to do something where we can relax, have fun, and just get acquainted on a casual level.
My past relationships have taught me...
Have been a caregiver for so many years to my Kids and then my Parents, so I haven't had a whole lot of experience with m/f relationships, however what little I have had, it's the same as I wrote in the beginning. I really want a man who truly loves the Lord and will guide our relationship through study. I want us to be ready for the day when he comes to take us to sit at his feet. I've lost a lot in the last few years, my Mom, then my Daughter, then my Dad and a close friend. So I definitely want to be preparing every day to see them all again.
To me, being an Adventist means...
Having the Trust and Faith in Jesus to lead us not to what we think we want, but what he wants for us. We are all his Children and He wants our happiness and Salvation the same as we want it here for our Children.
In five years, I see myself
I have always wanted to go on a Mission Trip, So I think that would be something I would like to do now that I don't have anyone depending on me. It would be wonderful if when I am ready for that, that God has lead me to that Special Man and we could do it together. I would also like to be married and do some traveling together.
My favorite Bible passage is...
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has PREPARED for those who Love Him." ! Corinthians 2:9. I leaned this at BHHEC last week. It just reminds me of what God has promised for those who love him and keep his word.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
My old computer crashed that has my favorite pictures of me. I am trying to get them back. I'll be honest, after my Dad passed away, I put some weight on, but with the help of BHHEC, I am on the path to losing it again through the Health message with proper diet and exercise. The picture I like best was just before I had to finally put my Dad in a nursing home in May of this year. I am a typical Photographer. I love to take pictures, but I don''t like to be in front of the camera. I look forward to meeting you and pray that God will lead each one of us on the Path that God has waiting for us.
