Essays

What I'd like to do on a first date...

On a first date, I would like to go somewhere where conversation was promoted...a coffee shop or quiet restaurant. An art gallery...maybe the zoo... This gives us an opportunity to talk and get to know one another. The second date should be the fun one.

My past relationships have taught me...

I've learned that I do have the ability and desire to open my heart and love someone... I learned the hard way that following God's will inside a relationship is tough sometimes, but it will be blessed in the end.

To me, being an Adventist means...

Being an Advenist means that I have chosen to align myself with other individuals who have studied the Scriptures and have chosen to live according to the Word and Will of God. Adventism is a title, a label by which we identify ourselves. Our lives, though, should reflect the wonder of our Creator.

In five years, I see myself

In the next five years, I will have two books published and be involved in some form of continuing education for myself. I will finish my Bachelors Degree and move on to my Masters in the Education field.

My favorite Bible passage is...

Proverbs 31: 10-31... This describes the type of woman that I strive to be...this is how I believe God intended us to be.
