A first date...I don't want to put pressure (or bore) anyone by the usual opening dinner and talk routine, not that there's anything wrong with that. I would rather do something out of the ordinary and fun. This will soften any nervousness and will allow us to laugh and learn about each other ioutside the confines of an intimate setting. Hopefully that will lead to a second date where we can have dinner and walk/talk, unless you would prefer I make dinner (remember haystacks?).

God must be first and foremost in every way. Communication and the willingness to adapt is important. Apologizing when you're wrong is also key to a successful relationship.

First, I am a child of God. I believe the Adventist faith is in line with the doctrines of the Bible. It's also means we get to fellowship with others who believe as I do. When I travel, the first thing I do after checking into a hotel is checking the yellow pages to find Adventist churches in the area. It always turns out that someone knows someone you know - we're a big family.

Through the will of God, I plan on instructing at the collegiate level and continuing my work in music. I want to have that special someone in my life within that time frame.

Psalm 46:1. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
