Introduction

I'm an SDA doctor for the Islita Foundation. You can find lots of videos and interviews of me by searching Dr. Riesenberger.

YO (ME):
One of the first things people notice about me is my last name is typical German but some of my physical features are Asian. I've been told my upper half is Asian and my lower half is European. On top of that when I bust out in fluent Espanol, people are really confused! ;)

This Eurasian (or Happa as we call it in Hawa'ii) combination symbolizes who I am in many other ways. I'm an equal blend of Asian and Caucasian, where East meets West! :) I can be velvet, or steel; display mind or might; I enjoy being social, or solitude.

Even though its probably the 2nd thing you'll notice, its *the* most important, and that's God. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and He guides me in all I do. Although I'm not Catholic anymore, I'm SDA (Seventh-Day Adventist), the person I admire most is Mother Teresa, because Christianity is an action word.

The 3rd thing you'll notice is that I'm Sanguine, but with testing I'm 30/30/30/10 with Melancholy being least. I'm easygoing and roll well with the punches. I'm very affectionate, and playful, my primary love language being touch and 2nd words. I'm a Massage Therapist as well as a professional speaker.

I'm very old-fashioned when it comes to love; I'm a hope*ful* romantic (otherwise I wouldn't be trying this site, right? ;) I'm good with asking a girl's parents/family for permission to court her. As well as being formally board certified in Emergency Medicine, I'm informally boarded in *spoiling you rotten!* Did you expect anything less from a Massage Therapist? ;)The thing I like most about wining, dining and surprising that special woman with flowers, gifts, songs or poems is her reaction to it. What makes me happy is to see the joy and delight on your face. I grew up in a home where Chivalry was honored so I normally pay for the girl unless she wants to chip in.

I love children and taught Sabbath school for Primary all through Pre-Med.

I believe in financial responsibility and family commitment. I avoid debt like the plague and could retire now if I wanted to.

FAMILIA (FAMILY):
I grew up in a loving and stable home, and had a playful and happy-go-lucky childhood. I was very verbal at a young age and was IQ tested at age 5 and placed in a gifted program beginning in the 1st grade that taught a 2nd language (why I'm fluent in Spanish), musical instruments, and even typing.

My Grama lives with me and has for the last 8 years since she is very frail. She's the love of my life, until I meet *you* that is! ;) but she'll still be important too!

Even though I left home for college when I was 17, I still like to stay in touch with everyone. I talked to my parents today and hear from my older brother and my favorite little sister too (she's my only sister but FLS is her nickname).

TU (YOU):
I'm looking for someone open-minded, yet has a very strong spiritual, mental and physical foundation; an intimate relationship with God and yet is willing to grow and learn more each day. One who is willing to follow and embrace whatever the Lord may lead them to.

The three things I look for in a woman are the three things I strive for in my own life as well: Do justly, love mercy, walk humbly. Micah 7:18

I'm drawn to people who are social and yet respect those who are independent and enjoy solitude. Its important to spend time alone with God and to collect your thoughts everyday.

Perhaps the most important thing to me is service to others. As a physician, my job is focused on making others well. Although I truly love my job, my real dream is to serve others who need help the most. This philosophy guides every other decision in my life. We were made to serve others. Just as no form of life on earth lives unto itself, neither should we Romans 14:7 We have a symbiotic relationship not only with other life but with every person on earth. Luke 6:36 is my definition of what we all should strive for.

We are all part of the great web of humanity and what affects one affects all.
