Introduction

I absolutely hate describing myself in a box, but here it goes. I currently teach high school English in Eureka Mt. I just moved here from outside Pittsburgh, PA. Boy is life different here. But I love to camp, hike and spend time outdoors so it is a great place for me. My family is very important to me. I also believe strongly in the Seventh-Day Adventist Message. I try to enjoy whatever I am doing and to be satisfied with the little things. I enjoy reading, music and movies. I have an offbeat dry acerbic British style sense of humor (comes from being a Literature major in college), however I am a great listener. I also try to speak the truth even if it is unpopular. Knowledge is something I strive for daily both of God and the world. I am an on again off again vegetarian depending on finances. Eating smart is not cheap, but I do believe in the SDA health message. Well that's about it. God bless and take care.

What I'd like to do on a first date...
A nice meal or long walk in a place with an environment for talking. Communication is key, so it would make sense to do a lot of it at first. For entertainment, I have always liked museums and zoos.

To me, being an Adventist means...
Living a life built on principles and in accordance with all the light you have been given. Also, that there is redemption and forgiveness in life. We are a blessed people for having current truth and knowing the true state of the world.
In five years, I see myself
Professionally, I hope to be working on my 2nd Master's Degree. This one in Library & Educational Media Science. After that. I want to get my PhD in Composition/TESOL. But personally whatever happens in the next five years I will leave the vast majority of to God.
My favorite Bible passage is...
Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." No matter where we are if keep our focus and continue our walk even the "bad" things will eventually work out. We just have to have faith and remember.
One final thing I'd like to mention...
I have lost 30 pounds since January and with the lifestyle here in MT, I hope to continue losing weight. I am an avid photographer and I love traveling. Living near Glacier National Park I hope to get back into wildlife photography.
