I would like to go with my date on a nice Sabbath afternoon hike with the church hiking club. I enjoy the beach and mountains equally. I am very open to suggestions as to what I'd like to do on a date. I would prefer an active date vs a sitting date.

Past relationships have taught me that every relationship has its ups and downs. Choose your battles. Determine what is important and what can be let go. I have learned that I am not right all of the time. Sometimes growth comes with some personal discomfort and getting outside of the comfort zone. When the pain is over then the growth makes us into better people.

My faith is a relationship with my Lord and Savior. I belong to Christ first and then I am a SDA. Being a SDA is more than behaviors such as diet and Sabbathkeeping, though those things are important they are not the substance of being a Seventh-day Adventist. Being SDA would make me loving, kind, tolerant of others and valuing others as Christ has valued me.

In the next 5 years I would see myself with a mate and plan to continue to be engaged in my church ministries as well as doing overseas missions. I pray that the Lord will provide me with my soul mate. I will contine to preach and present health talks as well as be a missionary in my own church and town. I plan to retire and spend more time doing carving and instrument making. One of my goals is to build a 66" harp.

Hebrews 13:5 (Paraphrased) Be satisfied with what you have. Keep yourself free from the love of money. Don't continue to grasp for things for have I not told you that I will never leave you or forsake you.
Joshua 1:5 ....I will never leave you or forsake you...

I enjoy my life and feel a sense of excitement in my journey. I am outgoing and friendly. I am not afraid to strech my horizons and get out of my zone of comfort. Being a short term missionary, I have learned the value of being flexible and being able to make adjustments when I need to.
