Introduction

I have traveled enough to know I want more. Made good friends and had wonderful experiences - I am thankful for it all. I like history and cool old stuff. I hate change but I rarely regret it.

I worked in missions in Africa for 2 years. Through travel, I have learned to enjoy life with or without "things". I love learning, creating, building and fixing. I like to see other people have a good time especially if I can help them do it. I am a planner but find that the best experiences are often the un-planned and spontaneous. Waking up in a sleeping bag on a beach with the waves crashing is one of the most refreshing experience you can have. Snow-camping in the dead of winter with nothing but the mountains, blue sky and sun around you is amazing. Doing this near a hot springs is even better. Waking up at dark and driving like a mad man in an incapable car just to see the sunrise over the Columbia River in time is beautiful. Paddling a canoe an hour by only the light of the full moon on a clear starry night to get to the campsite makes me feel alive. It is doing things like this that ground me, that make me realize what life is really about and bring me closer to God. Life is only just beginning.
